How much does it cost per month?

Do it through Quidco and get cashback
Ends up costing about £60 for 12 months for deluxe !!
  • Just got an email that says ancestry.co.uk is free this weekend (until 23:59 21 Sept 2014)
This weekend only, start your family history discoveries with free access to more than a billion UK records. Explore documents, photos, and records rich with information. Just type in a name plus any other details you know—even a guess will do.

Access to the records in the featured collections will be free until 21 September 23:59 BST. To view these records you will need to register for free with Ancestry.co.uk with your name and email address. We will then send you a user name and password to access the records. After the free access period ends, you will only be able to view the records in the featured collections using an Ancestry.co.uk paid membership.

It looks as though the offer has expired, unless I am not understanding it.
    Keep on trucking!

Alternatively - do as I have done
Purchase FTM 2014 deluxe through Amazon - at £29.95 and when the 6 month (inclusive) membership of Ancestry expires - just ignore all of the "time to pay" warnings and continue as if nothing had happened
That, believe it or not - is what I did, my 6 months expired on 26th June and I am still using the site as previous - with no payment.... !!
I keep expecting to find that my account has been blocked - but not yet !!
I am shown as a "registered guest" which should only allow me to view, already saved trees and data, not search for new stuff !
