Youngest sisters - a theme?

My younger sister has good inside her somewhere.
I know that she has a nice side, I've seen it, but at the same time she is my total opposite and I don't agree with some of her life choices. We don't speak now, and we hated each other as kids, but somewhere in the middle were a few good years that I'll treasure.0 -
Im the youngest and as much as I love my sister she is really inconsiderate... shes constantly asking me to baby sit and our mum etc but wont do same for me etc etc
Not that I grudge her for it though as its just who she is, she doesn't think like I do if that makes sense lol lifes one big party to her.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
I'm the youngest sister by 8 years and don't think I'm inconsiderate- my older sister and I get on better than we used to. Don't however get me started on my brother...*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

My younger sister is fantastic. We didn't get on as kids, but that was more my fault than hers (undiagnosed depression and insane hormones). Now I can honestly say she is a far better person than me!0

No. Whether you're talking about "all men", "all women", "all youngest sisters", "all stepmothers" or any other group - there will be a range of types and behaviours within the group.0 -
I'm the youngest of 3 sisters and have always got on great with eldest sister. The middle 1 in our case is the selfish, inconsiderate 1 & always has been.
She lives 30 mins away from our elderly parents but only visits about once a month and they can go a week or more without a phone call from her. (Only works P/T so no excuse)
I work F/T live 2 hours away and care for my DH, other sister lives in Spain and has health problems of her own but we still try to see them as much as possible and certainly phone 3-4 times a week.
I have had no contact (last 1 was via FB) from said sister for over a month now despite knowing DH had got important hospital appts & surgery earlier this month.0 -
Yes, my sister who is the youngest can be very like this, as can my sis-in-law who is also the youngest. My and my hubby are both the eldest of 2 children. However 3 years after having a son I had a daughter, so now I can also observe how annoying the eldest can be.;)0

The title should be; why do middle children get s h a t on from all sides?
I am a middle child and am usually the peacekeeper, the one to blame, the organiser, the helper, and the nurturer pretty much all at the same time with both sisters!I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
I'm the youngest sister, and I'm awesome.0

I don't think you can generalise like that. My mum had two sisters and a brother and was the youngest she always has been the most considerate, and did everything for my Grandma. Her sister who is second eldest has always been completely inconsiderate.
I have two brothers and its definitely the eldest who has no consideration for others. Of my two daughters however, the youngest is the most inconsiderate, but can also be the most generous and loving.
People are people and we're all different. Hooray!0
