Youngest sisters - a theme?

I have a younger sister and she is a using, selfish cow and that is the reason I no longer have a relationship with her.0

I had an elder brother (died many years ago) we were twenty months apart in age. I have a younger brother that is seven years younger than me and quite self-centred.
I think you will find it is the person and not the sex or where in the sibling line up they come.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
It's a huge generalisation but often the result of being the 'baby' of the family.
You could just as easily start a thread on 'Are the oldest siblings always bossy?'. I'd agree with that as I'm one of them!:rotfl:0 -
:rotfl: I'm the youngest sister and I wouldn't say I'm inconsiderate but then again maybe my siblings would answer differently. I try not to be inconsiderate anyway!0

I know of several people whose older sisters are bitter and bossy and want to control the lives of their younger siblings. They don't like the fact that their younger siblings have taken note and learned from their mistakes and appear to have an easier life.
I would like to know, are all older sisters like this?
No, of course they're not.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
MY youngest sis is selfish and lazy and immature and thinks she knows everything about everything when in actual fact she nothing about a great deal of things.. she still lives at home (at 26) pays nothing towards anything, has never cleaned a thing or washed a pot in her life, doesn't even do her own laundry!!
I would happily give her a slap.. she gets up after evening meal time then whines she can't sleep at night and claims to be depressed.. when in fact she is just bored and sleeps all day so of course she can't sleep at night..
She doesn't moan at me though because I won't do the 'poor you' and feed her habit.. I tell her to grow up and try living in the real world like us normal people..
She is so bad she has my mother go to doctors appointments with her and suchlike still!!
Other than being interfering when she has no experience she isn't a horrid person.. she just has other faults which irritate me to death.
I'm not a bossy older sister, but I am usually the one that gets moaned at by all my siblings and my parents and everyone else too.. I do seem to have more expected of me than anyone else.. I am the one who is often overlooked whenever there is anything going on though.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I wouldn't know about sisters as I have 3 brothers (2 younger twins and one older) and they are all inconsiderate
I'm the middle child so of course I'm perfect in every way.. :A
although I'm sure my brothers would disagree :rotfl:0 -
My youngest sister is wonderful
She works hard, is generous and loves spending time with my children. Could not have chosen better had I been given the chance to choose0 -

Bossy yes but bitter no (well maybe a bit miffed ).0 -
My younger sister is one of the most kind, selfless people I know.
The minister at her wedding called her " a true gem" and indeed she is.0
