You can never have too many TV Licence threads

I shall start a new topic involving all BBC people on the Left immediately.
And then I shall start a new license fee thread for all those that are on the right, just for good measure!0 -

You are the ones who make a big issue out of this and try to score points and slag people off, not me.
I've not slagged anyone off other than the BBC itself. I know I'm right about its 'supporters' though because you yourself claim I have a choice. I also find it interesting how the BBC supporters claim anyone who doesn't agree with them is on the wrong or 'slagging' people off.
The real 'choice' will come when the BBC TV Licence is abolished, you'll see then just how great the BBC really isThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

You do have a choice, either pay or don't, it's not a problem.
I don't claim you are wrong about the BBC, it's not something I am that interested in, I just watch the programs I like. You are wrong to make assumptions about my political leanings and motivations.
You only have to read a few of these threads to see the aggressive and insulting tone used by a lot, (not all), of these anti-licence fee people.0 -

Funny how certain people who like the BBC think that's a choice (fund our BBC or don't but don't watch live TV don't)RichardD1970 wrote: »You are wrong to make assumptions about my political leanings and motivations.
Well TBH I am entitled to the view, you don't have to agreeRichardD1970 wrote: »You only have to read a few of these threads to see the aggressive and insulting tone used by a lot, (not all), of these anti-licence fee people.
As I've said I find the BBC types always put that slant on topics like this to try shutting them down, the less discontent about the BBC TV Licence the better
The clue for those reading isRichardD1970 wrote: »these anti-licence fee people.

Oh Gawd... Do I now have to start a new licence fee thread about internet users who are BBC types and always put a slant on BBC topics too?
Accusations made by users who have an, err, slant on BBC topics?
Oh no, I'd rather not.0 -

Someone brave enough to admit they're one of the same, the BBC TV Licence :rotfl:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

The irony.
The reason why we have many Licence Fee threads is (a) because the terms of the Licence are unclear to many people, TV Licensing are unhelpful, and they come here to ask before risking prosecution, and (b) because the BBC/TV Licensing does not want people to have a fair and open choice as to whether to have a licence or not, and therefore people complain about them.
And it's always been the case that opening a thread to complain about too many threads is a little counter-productive.0 -
Actually I was congratulating you for recognising the BBC and the TV Licence are one or was that a mistake on your part?
