  • Today was a successful Day 3 for me! :)

My desk has become buried underneath snacks to help me avoid the lure of newsagents and the nearby M&S Food - seems to be working so far!

Going for something different tomorrow- Salad (Lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomato) with nuts (cashew), olives, avocado and chicken..stuffed into a pitta.
Also takikng a small pot of salsa to pour in. I have 20mins between clients so i'll pull over in a layby and scoff on that :)

    Can't wait, it looks lovely!

EDITED to say that if anyone wants to try making similar to this, i make nann breads as my pitta bread, using this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/naan_86626 I dont brush with butter though. Just leave to go cold, cut in half (or just cut the top off if you want a big one) and stuff with whatever you want.

Posh nosh for Suzibabe :T six quid for a salad is a bit steep but if it gives you a fabby idea then sometimes it's worth the hit.

I know, it was a real treat though! And I'm pretty pleased to have recreated it for 5 days for less than the price I paid for just one, plus it's really filling & helps keep me away from the vending machine. And I get that virtuous feeling from having eaten lots of my 5-a-day portions in one go.:A

Now to try and come up with a new lunch for next week, ready for the weekend grocery list - preferably this time without a cash outlay to get the idea!:rotfl:

Well you can't complain at the 5 for the price of 1 then Suzie, well done :T

You might be able to get some ideas from the Old-Style recipe indexes for your next creations?

Oh and don't forget to let me know how many days achieved so I can alter the first page :)

Yesterday and today were packed in advance, woop! That makes 4 days!

Yesterday was the last of the beetroot/canellini/kale salad, today is cous cous with roasted veggies, and a piece of plum and almond tart I made to use up the plums I was given! Feeling so chuffed with myself! :D

Not at work tomorrow but am planning snacks to take so I don't get hungry on the train and give in to an extortionate coffee and croissant combo!

3 and 4 in the bag!

Yesterday I had a BBQ quorn and veggie wrap and today is far too hot so it's just salad.
  • Another successful 2 days so 3/19 for me :j

Cereal bars (supplies kept at work) for breakfast. Leftover pasta yesterday and lunch provided at a meeting today.
