What is "our tiger" and what relevance does it have to this discussion?0 -
Funny how dogs are obedient and normally predictable i.e. being by your side, where cats want to be the boss!
How to get control back?
Cats sulk if they don't get their own way as well!0 -

Cats dont want to be the boss, they ARE the boss. Get the hang of that and you will get along fine with your furry management.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
I always find it funny trying to get our cat's attention, calling him by name, making kissy-sounds etc, and as soon as I start doing it he looks away on purpose, acts like he's ignoring you and totally not bothered, and then when you stop doing it he'll 'meander' over at a very relaxed pace, sort of like, "I am ready to come over now, human. I shall not do it at your beckoning."0

Oh, too true:eek:
Funny how they make out they can't hear you until you speak their language (food!)
Today my cat knows outside is cooler and showery so no silly games:eek:0 -

My parents cat has no interest in laser pen either. I took mine over to try and tempt him but he just looked at me with disdain and went to sleep.

With the mixed Autumn weather, when I think the cat is out I would find ZZZZ'ing on a bed! Though....
With the little Indian summer we've had/having, puss has started up the games again. I fall for it every time.
(food and biscuits timeously served along with a long siesta means the tiles are beckoning for my fur-ball!)0
