Not if they are deployed to the UK where they will be re-tried and either let off or given vastly reduced sentences all funded by the taxpayer. When leaving jail they will sell their stories to the newpaper, do some interviews and perhaps celebrity BB, by which time they should have made enough to compensate them to some extent for the 1.5 million that was cruelly taken from them.0

I mentioned this earlier in the thread. They can't profit from their crimes in the UK. It's enshrined in law so out will go the newspaper stories if they do get back here.
So Mr Nice can trade on his notoriety as he was in prison in the US? Seems perverse.
I don't think they can be retried here. One of the conditions of transfer would be that they serve their sentence as per the Peruvian court decision. Unless somebody knows different?
They didn't break any law here, so no arrest or trial here. Unless you count possession of an offensive hairstyle.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -
:T Well done the Peruvian authorities for refusing to accept their guilty pleas, unless they provide more info on their drug baron bosses. Wouldn't happen over here of course, but thankfully their are some countries determined to rid themselves of the drug problems.
Look forward to hearing their legal representatives bleating about their human rights being exploited! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
