Having just moved into a new home I was planning on plugging in my freesat box but...... no dish!
Dish installation has to be around £150 so i digged about to find a better way. After a bit of thought I figured this out.
Sign up for sky via quidco get the following:
Free Installation- £120 saved
Free 2TB Sky+HD box - £499 saved
50% off basic package for 6 months = £63 to pay/saved
quidco cashback - £60
full price 6 months - £129.00
So i pay £129.00+£63 for 12 months minus £60 cashback = £132.00 Total for year.
Now here's the good bit, I got a FREE Sky+HD 2tb Box which are going for anything from £150-£200 on ebay so that puts me in profit and after 12 months I plug my Freesat box back in to my new (free) dish!

Does your freesat box have a viewing card slot?0

Not sure its in the loft now! But I only watch freeview channels normally so after a year Ill give up on sky and go back to that either way.
Or course you could keep the free Sky+HD box.0 -

...what the OP is saying is that he will pay out £132 over the first 12 months ...but that he will recover it all at the end of the 12 months by selling the Sky HD+ box for at least £132 -hence free Sky!!0

yes exactly - and i get the dish installed for free which is the problem I had in the first place!
So thats FREE sky for 1 year!
Really they are paying me as I should get at least £150 for the box, so they are paying me around £18 to get a dish installed and watch sky for a year.0 -
You should know that the skyplus features will be disabled when you stop paying the subscription - whereas an alternative box may have a recorder in it.Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
