I feel from what you've said the seller has strung you along so you are now out of the A-Z gte (I think) and now has the delivered product.
In your case, with POD, I'd go to small claims court.
Tracked isnt a retail product
So unless the OP i a business user with account facilities, they cant use Tracked0 -
Well I have emailed Amazon a-z just now, I will keep this thread updated when I get a reply. (Thanks to everyone that's posted with helpful information so far)0

I hope you get it sorted!
Had a wee nosy around the RM site, you can send things 2nd class recorded but basic 2nd class doesn't give this.
In hindsight, I'd have waited before sending it back - I think the seller is liable for the postage with a faulty item anyway.
Best of luck!0 -
If the OP had gone through the Amazon system to request refund and not just ask the seller direct then he would be covered by the A-Z scheme and they would have been able to print out a postage paid returns label.0

I've sent parcels placed tracked numerous times from a post office. They usually offer the special delivery or recorded delivery which are both tracked (well, the latter is tracked to the extend it tells you whether it's been delivered yet or not).0 -
There is a track and trace feature on the royalmail webpage and yes it does work with 2nd class, I would post a screenshot to show you but an unable at this time.
I'm not sure, I get the feeling the amazon supplier is just trying to get out of paying for a refund personally ive been trying to get a refund for about 3 months now hence me signing up to this site. But I will give Amazon a-z a try thanks I haven't contacted them yet.
How can you track and trace a 2nd class stamp without a reference number?!?!
Post the link, leave off the www. and the http:// and we can work out the rest...0 -

Custardy is referring to a product the RM do called 'Tracked'
this is, as he says, a business only product.
As per http://www.postoffice.co.uk/letter-services?intcampaignid=MNukletters
It clearly says if you want confirmation it got there you should use signed for 2nd class.0 -
You see that code you put in. Thats not a 2nd class stamp. Thats a 2nd Class signed for delivery.0

Well that was what I meant sorry
