Rapport/Trusteer Update killed 2 computers?

    I had this on my old laptop Vista, never had a problem. Now new one Windows 8 again no problems.

    But after reading these posts I am worried.:eek:

    Win7 Home Premium, 64bit.

    Problem is, by default it may happen automatically. Strangely my Win7 lappie hasn't been updated yet. I will uninstall it NOW.

    Just double checked and it is the 23/8 version, although I didn't update it, so must have been updated automatically.

    Again, no problems so far!

    Okay, it was on my laptop, but I went into on line banking this morning and now its asking me to download it!!!!!

    I had the icon in my hidden icons the other day and the green arrow in my on line banking too!!!! Very strange. But I am not going to download it again and just ignore them.

    I have just spent 20 minutes trying to remove it, from Add/remove, cannot;;;it,s not working,and cannot get it off.Ain,t got any pop ups from bank, and use it daily?

    Cheers espresso. Just spent 20 minutes on chatline direct to trusteer, they want logs, cannot get into console, so they sent a tool, which I downloaded, and run. NOTHING, They are useless.
    Hope this tool works, as other disappeared, same site.

    seems they e-mail the link, still waiting;;;don,t want me to use it.like the other link to obtain logs.
    never use it again,the chatline had no idea, didn,t give me the link to remove, although I asked.:beer:
