OH tried listening (he's not too good with emotional stuff!) and 20 minutes later went to play golf (its his stress release thing), i think it was a bit too much for him.
Spoke with him yesterday, and wrote it all down. He seemed to take it in a bit better, but I think it will be a long process with him to understand how it is for me.
I spoke with the surgery, not a GP. I will make an appointment Tuesday to see a doctor and hopefully get some help.
I can't thank you all enough, it takes a weight off my mind knowing there are amazing real people out there who understand that what I'm going through is real and scary.
The advice from the surgery is rubbish and I'm glad you rang back and now have an appointment with a doctor. People go through awful things that may upset them for decades, just because it didn't happen a week ago doesn't mean nothing can be done. I hope your GP is supportive.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!) Barclaycard £1.5K (interest free for 18 months)0 -
Repeat the words "I am scared" to your OH and then explain your fears. Make it VERY clear you are not looking to make any decisions or for him to come up with any solution, just that you want him to know how you feel, and you'd like to know how he feels.0

All over the country there's the IAPT service - this is one option your GP could refer you into - you can also self refer. Also you have the peri-natal mental health service.
You could also consider funding your own counselling (which won't be time limited) many places have low cost counselling services - google to see what's local to you, it's usually from £5 per session & you don't have to be on benefits0
