My point was about the letter of the law but it seems to have hit a nerve. Not that I'm surprised because I've come across numerous gas fitters (sorry, engineers) who think they were selected to do such work because of their superior gene pool.because you are too bigheaded to admit you don't know what you are doing
You have no clue what I am capable of or not so please don't insult me, I haven't judged you.
I've seen enough supposed professionals leave bodged work and not operate to code while preaching to everyone else. I've seen recently passed GSR guys ask the lamest questions on another forum - what kind of competence standard is required to get registered? Obviously not very high. But it seems many think they're rocket scientists once they're qualified.0 -
I change the first word to anyone because i didn't want it to seem as if i was having a go at you personally, maybe i should have changed the rest as you seem to think i was getting at you, i wasn't
yes i've seen some poor work by reg'd installers as well so that we agree on & yes it does make me wonder how they passedI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

I agree, and this isn't exclusive to the GSR. I've seen some ridiculous things mentioned by qualified Electricians who belong to trade bodies.
You do wonder if they pass some of these people just to bring in the money :huh:If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
I saw the most apalling example of low and dangerous driving standards I've ever experienced in 40 years (:o
) driving recently. It was by an ADI!!!! He's been reported to his employer of course.
S..t happens.
