I seem to remember a poster saying they bought baby milk in Asda which matched to Morries (same price everywhere) and gave 10% back via apg. I'm not sure if this still applies though, was last year I read it.

Baby milk over 6 months old is valid for an APG (or a TPP or BM)
Under 6 months old it classifies as infant milk so 'should' be excluded (I've never tried so don't know)

Only way I got my infant milk discounted was by buying the Mr Shoes giftcards on the glitch in Argus last year (thus saving me 25%)
As someone else has suggested buying them in Morries to get the fuel saving would also give a benefit.

I've had the same with Nationwide - they asked a LOAD of questions DOB, full address etc. which I refused to answer. They then GAVE ME A TEL NUMBER to call them back on - as if I'd be so stupid to call them back on THAT number! When I rang Nationwide on a number that I'd looked up they couldn't see why I thought it was a problem???

It was a genuine call & they'd stopped a payment on my credit card as I'd made 2 or 3 small transactions to that company in same day - believe it was a body shop glitch! lol Apparently it's what people who have stolen cards or cloned them do initially.

Halifax called me about a transaction on a mobile phone and wanted all my details, which I refused.
Called them back on real phone number and they had no record of it.
Got the same call the next day, so asked why He was ringing on a mobile.

Says " I work between more than one branch so is easier" - I again refuse and go to bank.
Turns out it was genuine - I was very :mad::mad:
How can they talk about safety and then do that.

Don't keep packets or boxes of food in a shed or garage. Only use for tins or cleaning products etc unless you want to risk an infestation

Oh, they are from the big A's glitch. :o

I did give some to my mil a couple of months ago. She hasn't said anything. :rotfl:

OMG Dipdap I WISH we knew! He's had the tests but nothing really came up apart from allergens he knew about - like cat/dog hair and some form of tree pollens. I had to rush him to a docs in London of all places once as we had our caravan parked almost under an oak tree at the Ealing Jazz Festival - he was allergic to that BUT nothing like the food allergy reaction.

I phoned the allergy nurse after the 2nd BIG scare & she said she'd make him another appointment - that was 7 months back - not holding my breath!

Thankfully both times I've managed to get him to take piriton before his throat closed up too much for him to take - at first itch now he gets it. We always have some out with us, along with epipen. I think if he hadn't have had the piriton & he wasn't in a state to get it himself he'd no longer be with us.

    Yes - it's REALLY SCARY!

OMG, it sounds like we could end up in the same boat as you!
Stupid docs told Hubby they can't do tests for him until they know what to test for (biggest load of manure I've ever heard!).
This is despite Hubby ending up at A&E one morning having anti histamine and something else pumped into him through a drip to bring the reaction back down.
We've never managed to work out exactly what could be triggering it as it seems so random.
Poor Hubby is double dosing himself daily on piriton because that's all the doctors have told him to do and luckily all reactions since he started doing that have been mild.
He'd been taking a single dose of it anyway for ages as he gets hayfever but now you've mentioned it I dread to think how bad the reaction could be if he didn't take any

Sorry for waffling on, it's weird speaking to someone who seems to be in a similar situation to us :o

This is genuine from my bank. It was in my messages when I looked at my account online yesterday.

    Dear Customer

Urgent Security Update - Please Read

Prevention through awareness is the best way to avoid becoming a victim of a scam

At Santander we take protecting your finances very seriously. Banks are seeing an increase in incidents where criminals are persuading customers to hand over their credit and debit cards or persuading them to transfer funds from their account.

    Warning signs

    A fraudster may

    • - Call purporting to be from Santander Bank, the Police or another financial institution
    • - Suggest you call the number on the back of your card or 999 for verification. (Unbeknown to you, the fraudster does not hang up and stays on the line so you are speaking to the fraudster again)
    • - Arrange to have your debit and credit cards collected by a courier*
    • - Request you to key in your Card PIN using your telephone keypad*
    • - Advise that another account has been set up to keep your money safe and urge you to transfer your money to the new account immediately*
    • - Insist that it is necessary for you to act NOW to protect your funds
    • - Request you to withdraw and handover cash along with your card as needed for forensic evidence*
    • - Request that you do NOT discuss the reason for withdrawal with branch staff
    * Despite how convincing the caller sounds Santander, the police or another financial institution will NEVER ask you to do ANY of these things.

What you can do to protect yourself

    • - Call a family member or friend first to ensure that the previous call has been disconnected or alternatively use another phone line to call Santander
    • - Do NOT enter your Card PIN details into the phone
    • - Do NOT allow your cards to be collected from your home
    • - Do NOT be persuaded to transfer funds out of your account
    • - Do NOT hand over cash
    • - If you are concerned that you have divulged security details, contact us immediately on 08459 724 724

I was going to ask if you're sure it was genuine as a definite sign it's a scam is when emails are headed with Dear Customer instead of your name but realised it's on your bank's website when you've logged in.
Many a mickle makes a muckle.

tweets, I like the way they start it off with 'Dear customer'

Some good advice but you can guarentee loads of people won't have read it because (if they're like me) they see dear customer and click delete without going any further.

    (where's that head slapping emoticon!)

I know its genuine if I get message in my account when I sign in and always read them.

If I get any in my email box I delete those wont even open them because I know they will be spam and don't want any more bugs on my laptop :(
