I haven't had mine from the magazines cash back - not sure how to lodge an enquiry !

There's a tab called Customer Care when you log in to TCB, click onto that and then on to Cashback Claims and follow the instructions from there.

I think with TCB you have to log in every six months too or you could lose your money.

Thanks for highlighting that. I didn't realise the bread had gone too :(.
I live in hope though. The Jaffa Cakes worked fine so maybe in the future we'll get them back??

A month ago, someone had taken an additional phone out on my Vodafone account (brand new iphone delivered to an address in Devon and not me) and I only knew when an email got sent re: my "new contract". I rang Vodafone direct and they put a stop to it and changed my passcode.
But last week, i got a phone call from "vodafone" telling me i could upgrade, blah blah blah. she then asked me to confirm my password and d.o.b. She may have been genuine but I said no! She had rang me, not the other way round and i didn't believe her. I told her to call back on Monday and guess who hasn't called back..... Drives me mad cos if my mum or dad had answered, they'd prob say yes and give that info out.

    It's shocking isn't it!
I had HSBC ring me a while back because I'd put in a balance transfer on my brand new credit card and they were ringing to confirm it was me.
Usually when HSBC have rung me they give me the first half my postcode and ask for the second half and ask for bits of info but this person wanted my full DOB and that was about as far as he got because I refused to give it as he'd rung me. I told him to tell me my account number and he wouldn't for 'data protection reasons' (DH knows the data protection act inside out and we knew this was twaddle) so he said they would write to me.
Needless to say I rang HSBC back after I'd got off the phone and they eventually worked out the call WAS genuine :o but unfortunately the India call centre use different security criteria.
I told them it was very poor customer service :D and the balance transfer was eventually processed about a week later than it should have been.
I still stand by what I said though and the bank rep I spoke to when i rang back said I was being sensible :) and they would make a note to look into security for the Indian call centre (I don't for one second believe they ever did :( )

My neighbour still to this day is convinced that the phone call she got from 'microsoft windows support' (or something) was genuine and her brand new shiny laptop really did have viruses.
Even when she recently told me her bank had rung her and said her card had been stopped due to dodgy activity she's adament it's not linked to that original phone call.
I guess these scumbags wouldn't do it if everyone was as savvy as we are :(

I love winding these people up when they call me. :D

Hi, infant milk are the same price but you could buy b00ts vouchers in morries. Get a fuel voucher. Then use b00ts voucher to buy baby milk. Hth
  • Topcashback seem to be running into a few problems recently some of them quite surprising. It might be worth all those with payment delays and issues posting in their forum to maybe force the point, and them into some kind of action rather than consistently sending out scripted replies.

A TCB representative, usually the same reps who reply to support tickets visits the forum daily to answer questions.

so if we keep it away from moisture, we should be ok.
so it looks like it was the steamy bathroom that did not help matters.
also think about not keeping near cooker or kettle. (my thoughts)

Many years ago I lived in a particularly damp house - any I always had a problem with mites, even foodstuff kept in sealed containers was infested after a very short time, especially in the kitchen. It was a constant problem. Could not keep cereal, flour, biscuits etc. for more than a few days.

Fortunately don't have that problem any more, but feel sorry for anyone that has.
