Oh for christs sakes, is this all people have to moan about these days?

According to pretend fireman sam its very important. Hasnt contributed at all and yet the first thing it/he/she posts is a slagging to the police for parking on double yellows to get their lunch!

Then theres the peabrain who thinks the police/army/mod are flaunting it!

    Honestly.....pathetic

So you reccon squaddies or anyone else that risks their lives should be able to flaunt the rules and laws of this country - what a state this place would be in. I'm glad people with more sense than you (or the average copper) are given control of UK laws.

Wow what a pathetic and unreasoned post.

Internet diarrhea blacksheep? Who said the officers are flaunting it? Who said that ?

And what about this stupid comment :
"I'm glad people with more sense than you (or the average copper) are given control of UK laws"

    The average copper?

You know the country is slowly going down the pan when an individual slates the 'average copper' - meaning the bulk of them for not being responsible for our laws.

Its the police that acutally want to change the laws to help erradicate crime and its the government and the public (i.e jury, civil groups) who actually make it difficult to keep crime low.

Now run along your posts are useless.

yes the average copper that won't allow you to report certain crimes, claiming they aren't an offense, unless you take their badge no. and ask to speak to the duty inspector etc - the ones that were so obviously bullied as children and are now on their little power trips.

I think its fairly obvious that if the officer in question in the original post was exiting the shop with a bag of shopping and not a suspect then it wasn't an emergency callout (if it was a callout at all).

And unless I'm very much mistaken my point about the police not in control of the law was accurate - they are merely servants of it.

All in all I believe my post was reasoned and well pathetic is your view.
  • The Police are there to uphold the law and set a good example. But for all we know they could've gone into the store to discuss the shoplifter they'd caught earlier that day and bought a few bits on their way out ... who knows ? It's difficult to damn them if we don't know what the main purpose was for them being in the store ...

And, as an aside, there seems to be two or three regular trolls on these forums the last couple of weeks whose main objective is to support authority at any cost whether it be the police, banks, supermarkets, mail order companies or whatever. And to !!!! off some of us in the process. I think it's time the trolls should have their wings clipped (do trolls have wings ? LOL you know what I mean)

The point is though that unless it is an emergency ie they are there to arrest someone then they should adhere to the rules, such as parking where prescribed.

    Dont be so daft!

I dont think the emergency services are going to be posting on these vent forums. Somehow, i think they may well have more important things to deal with than writing dribbling posts on the slow reactions of Tesco customer services.

I just think alot of people write useless vent threads and subsequent posts.

Consider this one, it is written with the intention of making the police look bad. I know they do this themselves anyway when dealing with them at times but we dont really need to have a thread about it do we? Granted it is a vent thread but surely there are more important issues to discuss as consumers. This thread is just an observation and nothing to do with Money saving or consumerism.

It should of been created or moved to the general topic rather than vent.

I can understand people getting annoyed at my reponse to some of these posts but calling people 'trolls' because you dont agree with them is a bit silly. Ive noticed some people call everyone a troll who disagrees with them.

From what I understand a troll on an internet forum is someone who goads you into getting a reaction.

However any form of differing opinion will create a reaction, therefore someone who is debating is a troll? Would that mean that everyone who differs, argues or points their point across is a troll?

If a thread has a decent topic with reasoned opinions then I will be delighted but it seems people post such nonsense topics that it quite annoying, hence some people write debateable reponses.

Was there a real need for this thread?
    Did it belong here?
Are the words of some of the posters really useful with there broad sweeping generalisation?

Is not important to look at the companies, organisations, supermarkets point of view?

Paranoia is a mental state for which you can receive therapy. Believing that people around you are of authority and then stating that they have bad attitudes is delusional, thus making yourself a victim of authoratarian bad attitude.

Your not a victim. The authorities dont hate you. They do not have bad attitudes.
