If he was there on Police business far enough. he may off been there on official business then though sod it "do my shoppping whilst here"
Also it could off been an official break and he parked there so he could make a quick response to any emergency call.
Or then he could of just been a !!!!!!3.78 kWp PV SolarEdge with iBoost South facing.
30° pitch roof 4% shading. Installed 6th June 18.

So what, I dont see you making a difference to society apart from calling police officers !!!!!! for parking on a double yellow lines.
What pathetic little man you are!
Got arrested in the past have we?.....lol...off you go now, you can vent now.0 -
Sharpei31,
It may well be a case of them and us. But until you put yourself in the face of danger routinely, perhaps put your life on the line for members of the public then I suggest you scurry back into your supermarket and bring the police officers a drink for doing you a service for a very low wage for the work they do.
Rather than criticise why dont you just thank them instead.0 -

i do put myself on the line everyday as i am a fireman, but that would not get me a free parking space outside the supermarket on double yellow lines so i can pop in to do my shopping
so i will have 2 sugars in my tea

Yea yea,
Maybe your paramedic too!
If you were, then you would also know how hard the emergency services work and given the fact that ive seen firemen in normal fire brigade cars parking within double yellows!
You know it goes on IF you really are a firemen.....
lol....you little liar....you mean to tell me that you work within the firebrigade AND you thought it was 'one set of rules for them and one for us' when you saw two coppers getting some lunch whilst parked on double yellows.....infact you even started this thread.
I dont believe you. You couldnt possibly work within the emergency services with that sort of attitude.0 -
Yup, it's one law for them and another for everyone else. One of the tory rags (Daily Mail / Telegraph etc.) had an interesting front page which pointed out that something like 99% of police cars caught on speed cameras had their fines waived. Somehow I doubt that they were all justified...Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0

So you reccon squaddies or anyone else that risks their lives should be able to flaunt the rules and laws of this country - what a state this place would be in. I'm glad people with more sense than you (or the average copper) are given control of UK laws.0 -
Oh for christs sakes, is this all people have to moan about these days?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

When it comes down to it no one knows the real reason why he was parked on the double yellow lines. He may of been working before or he may of chosen to bend the rules.
Either way...is there any need to start on each other?Debts: Gym £[strike]465.75[/strike] Student account [strike]£1039.88[/strike] Overdraft [strike]£129.00[/strike] Credit Card [strike]£2772.22[/strike] Loan [strike]£6222.01 [/strike]
Total £10628.86
All paid off! 10/03/2009 :j0
