Thanks for the reply, we have managed to buy somewhere..just this week! i have to say its a gorgeous brand new house which i'm chuffed to bits with, it's taken some very hard work and many tears i'll tell you!
Well done!
I don't think house buying is meant to be an easy experience - and this is as true for previous generations as it is now.
Of course, it must have been very easy for ds1980, given his supreme intelligence and all that.Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -

Can i just say ds1980, me and my other half work our !!!!!! off, we have 4 jobs between us one of them being a key worker and we have only just this week managed to secure a house S/O at that. We have saved and it's hopeless, we have no debts apart from the car that we need. In the area we live in a 2 bed hovel costs in the region of £150k, we can get £120k at a push? you do the maths?
How nice it must be to get everything handed to you on a plate eah!
Never been handed anything. My dad is on incapacity benefits and my mum works every god send hour she can. Im now in a position to stop all that but stubborn as they are won't accept it.
You should get better jobs or not be so unemployable. Like i said befre your not the exception but the norm. Tough !!!! just live with having to rent for the forseeable future. Its not bad but in time you might be able to afford a decent place of your own.
Im not priveleged or from a priveleged familiy and have never had any favours. im just more clever than most and thats the difference as simple as that.
Key worker??? is that a teacher by any chance (otherwise known as can't do anything better in my life so i'll take the easy option.......i'll teach. Difference between me and you is taht if i ever decided to teach which i never would, i'd be the head master within 10 years whereas you'll be "happy" teaching reception for 40 years0 -

Mmmm. Looks like you should have paid more attention to your English teacher Mr. Clever Clogs.
Are you the same man who recently asked on another thread whether you had to make up the difference between your mortgage and selling price at auction?
The same man who is going to build a property empire from the ashes of the coming crash, doesn't even know the first thing about buying houses?
What a t*t0 -

^^^ heh heh heh, but would have been better without the double post"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.

Brightest person in the UK, top investor, FIG JAM, careerist. You dragged yourself from the gutter to your exhalted heights. I can see why you're so pleased with yourself.
I'd hate anyone that hadn't chosen to do exactly the same things with my life as I had if I was as sucessful as you.
PS Spelling's overrated. Probably it's for the sort of losers that become teachers or something.0 -
