LOL, I love watching Devon wriggle on his own hook. Well done Clapton for not letting Devon get away with his propaganda.
That Clapton web was spun very nicely for Devon to walk right into. Devon's squirming is great entertainment.

That's the best way. Well done! Pointless waiting until we decide what you mean, because we'd all be here until Christmas. None of us can work out what you mean, especially as it seems to change all the time...

I really don't like some of the new estates near me not so much because of the size of the houses but the building density but accept living in a densely populated part of the country it's what's needed to build sufficient houses.

Of course, some of the most expensive and desireable housing in the country is built at something like 12 houses per acre. Have a wander round chelsea, and you won't see many of the wealthiest living in a detached house with a utility room, off-street parking, and so on.

From the perspective of a central londoner, who's happy to pay secen figures for a flat, it does seem a bit strange to hear people complaining about a small third bedroom in their £300k house with a garage.

Can you explain why they would give such large amounts in donations to the tory party if there was nothing in it for the bigger builders?

Probably to help them campaign so that they can stay in power, as the builders don't think that business would be so good under Labour.

There's no need to imagine a conspiracy, as you are implying, where they are paying the money to be given an unfair advantage. It's pretty normal to want to support a party who you believe will be better for you, the country, or the economy.
