Only if you are mental! I notice this is the only French car mentioned so far- I wonder why?

I recently sold one (2002 model) after 10yrs ownership with never a moment's problem. Maybe I got lucky but I loved that little car and was so sorry to see her go as she'd been so reliable. I'm sure she'll still be going strong in another 10yrs too :D

I noticed how popular Japanese cars are in America. I think we buy too much German over here. I'm going to try a Honda for my next car.

Recently German cars have prioritised for cosmetics, touch and material on the inside. Quality of paint but neglected the engine and relativity. Mercedes had cars that could do a million miles on the same engine, now they use a french engine in their a class. Trading in their brand for quick profits.

Honda have thin body panels, interior is a bit flimsy and cheap but their engines are reliable.

Far too many sensible but terminally dull options, test drive a CLK500 should be able to pick up a good example for four bags

I never said I replaced it with another Peugeot. If I wanted to keep the same car I wouldn't have sold it in the first place.

    Here you go:
Ford Focus C-max 2006 car, one owner from new, 1.8 petrol manual. 32,000 miles. It's even a private sale and within london.

Quirky but very practical Skoda Roomster 1.4 on a '57 plate with 50, 000 miles on it. One owner and Full service History.

There are also loads of ford Fusions in budget, which are decent cars.

If you do want a bigger car, I'd go with Skoda Ovtavia estates, Volvo V70's or Honda Accord tourers. Plenty of room. If nippyness and cramped parking spaces is more of a concern, then any of the above would do.

    Some boring cars mentioned!

Some slightly less boring but well built and reliable and still look decent
    - focus
    - civic (shape before the current one)
    - golf
    - a3/a4
    - 3 series
    - seat Leon

we have had 2 Picasso's, got to say they are very good,
roomy inside, when I want to pickup big long stuff I can take out every seat except the drivers (4 bolts and airbag connection on front passenger)
been advised not to get the C4 Picasso as the diesel ones have turbo problems on them, which is a pain as I was looking at getting a newer car

I sometimes miss my 307 too, then I look at my bank account and thank God I don't have it any more. If only I had bought the 2.0 petrol rather than the diesel.
