Can I please join in? Been thinking about this a lot the past week so this is what I plan to do

    1. eBay (lots of clutter to shift)
    2. Buying and selling using charity shops/car boots
    3. Blogging (which I have recently set up)

I am aiming for £100-£200 a months, recently gone part time so the extra income would off set the drop in wage :)

I've reported the comment as spam, so frustrating. Thanks for setting up the thread - sure it won't get shut down

    Hi

I would like to join in too if I can? I am mainly a lurker on these boards but thought that I would come out and say "Hello".:hello:

I have just started a blog and wondered if anyone had any ideas to get some traffic to it? It's a blog on my journey to becoming a Domestic Goddess (well that's my aim anyway :D). Any ideas would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure how much money I can make off of blogging so I will set myself a realistic target of £20 a month to start with. Could you please put me down for this? :)

    Thanks

I'd love to hear the answers to Fairy Dusts question too as I'm wondering the same thing.

My blog address is in my profile if anyone wants to take a look (hope that's allowed)

    :)

Well I am hoping if I make a detailed enough blog it will be found, personally I don't know much about traffic myself!

The idea is to have very niche blogs, so when people say search 'What does Santa like with his roast dinner' yours would be the only blog / or the top blog that comes up on google ..as yours would be the best matching (I can't belive thats the best I could come up with lol)

Im planning on making one huge blog, with each page having blogs linking off to it for the niches...hoping that because I have so many indivdual topics it will be found. If you can find a hobby you enjoy to write about it could be same..i.e as fairy dust just wrote about being a DG, she could try and write very niche blogs about certain topics/items ... like compare two products and if someone googles is xXx better then xXx then hers would hopefully come up.

Main things for traffic *that I know off*; key wording (what are people searching) and to link your blog to as many other sites as possible (i.e having your link on your profile actally would help increase views in google for some reason google rate sites higher that are linked on other sites if that makes sense)

Theirs another post on here, decicated to blogging. Might be worth having a scroll for more info.

  • It's all gone very quiet here. How's everyone getting on?

I managed to meet my target for August, but that was for work done in July. I think I put in sufficient hours for September's target, but will just have to wait and see if I get paid on time to count it.

Everyone ready for a September push?!! :j

I didn't make anything in August (I'm not counting swagbucks in this) but i did start the challenge towards the end of the month. Hope September is better!
