Have you thought about a new handset type yet? Personally I would recommend avoiding Samsung or HTC if you want to stick in the same price range. There is always a recommended Android phone on 'ere I just cant put my finger on the name (sure someone will clarify that). Either that or a Nokia Lumia 520. Considering you don't seem to want every app available the memory on this phone should do you well.
Edit: Might be the Huawai Ascend G300? Spelling maybe off.
The G300 and Y300 are probably the most recommended budget phones on here. The latter can be bought sim free for £70.0
