Hi all, I have been doing this from Jan 1st, I did it very successfully last year so now have a total of £21.00 for 2015, I think this is such a fab idea!
Take care all.0 -
Only just found this challenge so I'll have to try to catch up a bit if I can. Love to join in though, brilliant idea even if I can't manage the full amount for all the later weeks.
Thank you OP, and all fellow challenges! :TWilson the Volleyball is one of Hollywood's most loved volleyballs. His glittering career started when he became the only companion of Tom Hanks' Chuck Noland in Cast Away. Many say this is Wilson's best performance and he couldn't have given a better effort.0 -

Just come across this challenge.
I use a Tesco Savings Account for a DD so I am going to use it for this challenge (hopefully it'll help to keep me off of the closures list!) I had £1 already in it to set it up, so I've transferred across £2 and will keep going from there. As some others have said, not sure if I'll manage the full amounts in later weeks (I also have a Regular Saver) but we'll see.0 -
I did this challenge in 2014 was worth while doing. The savings built up gradually. Didn't do it this year and have noticed how that extra £1300 never arrives. I am going to do the challenge again in 2016.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0

I have started this challenge this year, as I saw it on facebook. I have decided to aim for £26.50 a week, as this is more manageable for me.
I have opened a new savings account and have £20/£1378 for the first week.£1000 Emergency Fund #175 - £598/£1000
