I'm in again this year. Managed it last year and have just booked our holiday to Disneyland Paris. we would never have been able to do this if I hadn't been disciplined by this challenge!

Going to start next week, I did it backwards last year. This year I'm doing the 50p challenge, so half the amount each week as I wont be earning as much this year. I will also be doing it randomly and choose which one to do each week depending on available money.

I'm also aiming to get the kids doing it so they have some spending money for the holiday. They start with 10p and double it each week.

  • I'm going to try this :) count me in please
  • I'm tempted to do it in reverse one but wondering as all the 2015 calendars say there are 53 weeks. Do I start with £53 now or on the 1st with £52 then every Thursday put money away?
  • Can i rejoin plz have we got a new thread for 2015? Xx

Don't really think a new thread is needed tbh also not everyone starts on the 1st week of the year :)

  • For those who struggle doing it this way you could always try and reverse it. Start at week 52 and work backwards. Therefore come the expensive time of year you will only be finding the lower limits. Hope this helps. I will join too but not sure I can stick to it due to no additional funds but I will try my hardest to accumulate the funds one way or another. Challenge set.
  • I like the idea of printing the form and ticking off each week which can be met at that particular time. I could probably do this easier. Thank you.
