Morning everyone
I didn't get any of the list tasks done last night but I did manage to cook a veggie shepherds pie and clean up after , and get a load of laundry done and hung up so I'm still counting it as a win.
BF's sister's dog was put to sleep yesterday afternoon so he was quite emotional last night, he's a senstive soul (at times). I didn't want to chuck him out of the sitting room whilst I got it cleaned up so we just sat and chilled after dinner.
We're out tonight, going to see The Last Leg being taped, but we'll be heading home first so hopefully there'll be time for a quick tea, and a clean up after, and maybe a little bit of bathroom cleaning, tbh that's the room that most needs doing most so even 25 minutes should make a big difference.
Have a good day everyone!0 -
WM on for 4th time.
Another HHI done.
Run out of pegs on the washing line.
DH has finally woken up so I'm about to jump in the shower. Next job is a big shop at T and a visit to the school uniform outfitters. DS2 has grown 5cm since the end of June. It must be all the sunshine. New school trousers and new PE kit. If I'm feeling brave I might take him to get school shoes. Bankruptcy here I come.0 -
Morning all
thanks to dusty kitten for letting me know about mr S's sale we will go at the weekend which gives me all next week to sort out the dreaded labeling. Am I the only one that only labels things at the beginning of the year? any top up uniform I buy mid-year never seems to get done.

Todays list is going to be a bit difficult for me as my PC is inside a cupboard which is a huge frog and full of clutter, I am not worried about sorting it yet as I can shut the door and hide it awaySo instead I will concentrate on getting some of the boxes of stuff sorted which I haven't got round to yet.
Mountwashmore is slowly getting smaller but struggling to find room for all the clean clothes. Has anyone got one of those 'foldy' things that you fold tshirts etc with and it is suppose to make you able to fit more in the drawers? Are they any good?
To defrag I am on vista but I suspect most operating systems are the same.
Go to control panel
then system and maintenance
under the heading Administrative tools you should see 'Defragment your hard drive'
click on that
click on defrag now
it comes up with the option of which drives you want to do, just accept the default.0 -

NB the error-checking takes HOURS so ideal for when you want to make yourself do stuff rather than being distracted by the internet...*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Forgot to say I was v impressed with my steam cleaner yesterday once the kitchen floor had dried it looked almost new. The grouting has gone back to its original colour (rather than black
). I also used it yesterday to do the living room windows and it done a good job of that as well.
