I must get moving. We are due to Mother sit this morning.

Ds1 is moaning. He hasn't enough t shirts as I have told him not to wear anything after today that he wants to take away with us. He has but they are not to be seen out in apparently.

Master bed changed, wm is on. Back is hurty.

    Hugs to all x

Mr T's had half price notebooks too (Oxford & pukka) yesterday

Last night the big dog ran away and rolled in something dead and very smelly. I wasn't going to allow him to come into my nice cleanish house so I got a bucket of water with dog shampoo in it and chucked it over him. Then I rinsed hime with another bucket of water plus a watering can that was near at hand.

I was totally engrossed when a little voice said 'We've never seen a dog being watered with a watering can before. Will he grow bigger?'.

Three little heads were looking over the wall at me. I think they will remember this holiday as the one where the crazy woman was watering the dog.

Dog is still a bit smelly so is confined to the hall where we don't have carpet. DD will take him for a swim later.

Housework just seems so superfluous with all this carp going on. Is it a sign of ageing when you are hearing more and more of serious illnesses and other evils? :(

IMHO it's because we can relate to loss/serious illness on a personal level. When I hear of someone who is seriously ill or passes away we think of my OH and the devastation his passing brought to me and his family.

But I then think of all the kindness and support I received, not just from my family and friends but from people I didn't know. Sometimes in the worst situations you see the best from people. IYSWIM.

Housework does seem superfluous but I found/find it can be a way for me to have some control over something and it helps me cope.

Positive/coping vibes to you. You can always PM me if you want, I may not have an answer but will always listen (well in this case read!).

    Anyway onto flying

I'm staying at my mum's whilst she is away as I'm grandparent sitting. So I am flying there and last night:

Shower cleaned including descaling the shower head and holder.
Bleached the grouting & scrubbed with a toothbrush
Descaled the sink taps & cleaned sinks
LR & 2 bedrooms dys0n tangoed (nods to LW)
    Mirrors cleaned

    Have a great day all

Love The Last Leg Treeny, so please give us the SP after, won't you.

Thanks for the heads up Jazee about C0-0p's garden things. I'll trawl around them when I do the shopping tomorrow. OH due back mid-afternoon, so if I can get my a into g, picking him up will be combined with all the other car things. I have a little listy from dealing with the freezer yesterday and am cleaning out both fridges today. And defrosting the kitchen one which is pretty bad, as in I can no longer get the flippy door shut properly.

1 tog duvet twirling with shower curtains and a few whites. I was cold last night, so it's back to the 3 tog for the winter for me. The sun's still shining though and the forecast is excellent so I'm not complaining.

Vet's happy with Mrs Dog, she's going to have her the last of her Tramadol nights tonight, so painfree vibes for her please for tomorrow.
    Better is good enough.
