Hi Y'all, I've not posted on the daily for yonks but have read it in a sporadic fashion!
Awake early, again! I'm guessing it's the light mornings and muggy weather too, never mind a nice quiet day ahead.
Church this morning
Lunch
Sitting in a shady spot in the garden reading
Church tonight
Lunch:
Poached salmon with holandaise sauce
Steamed carrots, corn cobs and jersey potatoes
Fruit salad and cream
Money has dripped through my fingers this month like water. Mrs MATH's needed an MOT and service (her car needed one too LOL) and various other unexpected spends:eek: So I'm counting every copper atm.
Plan for next week, along with the usual, is to sort the back garden (front was done last week). The ground is so dry I can hardly get a hoe in but I'm getting too many wild seeds blowing in from the fields. Now they are starting to sprout I can't leave it any longer.
Off to the coast at the weekend. Yay!
Amie999- we have a sandcastle comp every year on the beach near us and it's great fun. We've never won it yet tho. LOL
PP- could you cover the chicken in smash and pretend it's the dish that dares not speak it's name?:rotfl: Didn't I read the other day that you had cracked and had another fix?:D
Ivyleaf- (If you're reading) hugs about the cat, my eldest is fast going home IYKWIM so I know how you feel. Congrats too!
Have a good day one and all

Goodmorning everyone,
It was such a lovely warm (note, I did not say hot) day yesterday & today looks just as nice. The cottage here in NI is fantastic. Much better than the one in Wales. Of course I picked this one, while DH the other.
My formatting is back to normal now. :j
N9eav Children from Chernobyl have been coming out to Oz for ages each year for holidays. I have never had them but a few friends of mine have and they are such lovely kids. I always felt so sorry for them when they go as it would have been hard to go back to their own way of life after experiencing a very different one. Great achievement for the fundraising.
Jamie Glad you're feeling better today.
Aimee Good luck with the sandcastle.
OK better go and clean up the breakfast dishes. DH has disappeared. Oh no, he's hanging around the fence gazing at the cows.Byeeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Good morning everyone,
Lovely day here, hope it lasts all day (forecast rain tomorrow).
Sleepover has gone well so far, girls still talking at midnight, but went quiet soon after, and then they were up about 6.20 - so bet they will be tierd later!!!!
After posting last night, my friend knocked on the door to say they were going up to the pub at the top of my road, and would we like to come. Its lovely up there, has a really nice beer garden with lots of swings/climbing frames so we had a lovely couple of hours letting the children run around whilst we sat outside having a couple of larger and limes!!!
Came home and watched some of the Simon Cowell thing (loved the pig) and then the results of the Joseph show, was so pleased with who won!!! Made the children popcorn and also had some crisps, so think they all had a lovely time too!!!
This morning, we've just had waffles and hot chocolate and later im doing a roast chicken for lunch. Will then take DDs friend home when we go out to get some milk and then be back home to cheer Lewis on in the grand prix (havnt watched the grand prix for years, but now we have someone descent to cheer on, its a bit more exciting again!!!).
Right, need to have a shower and another cuppa.
Hope everyone has a lovely day,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Good morning!
Late start for me, 'cos I went to bed so very late last night!:o Only been up half an hour.:D Had a lovely meal out last night, certainly made all that shed-clearing worthwhile. We went to our local Italian and had the lot! Started with a lovely bowl of olives and finished with tiramisu, by way of a gorgeous penne campagnola and side salads all washed down with a liberal helping of frascatti:D Good job we walked the mile and a half each way!
Today I've got church shortly followed by.........who knows? No fixed plans yet, but first I want to strip my bed and get that in the WM. It was such a hot night, I don't want to leave it until tomorrow. Besides which there's nothing better than slipping into fresh cotton bedding:D
Good luck with the sandmanatee Amie.
Wow to the cheque Rzl, that'll be great for you. (But I'd have to check too, before spending it:rotfl: )
cazziebo hope the quote is what you need!
Must rush now, byeeee

Morning all,
I've had a l8 start too coz DDs stayed at their dads last night - so I had a lie in til 9!! I'm breakfasted and dressed and am just going to go and take dog for a walk and pop in to iceland and 2 get DD1s friend a pressie for party this afternoon.
I then need to sort out all clean washing (about 4 loads of) and make DD1s s/wiches for week to go in freezer. DD's should be back for 12 for lunch and then will drop DD1 at her party for 2. While she's at party I'll bath DD2, sort out paperwork and tidy upstairs. After party we can all walk dog together before doing tea, bathing DD1 and doing school books.
Hope every1 has a gr8 day:T and (((((HUGS)))) to all those who need them.

Morning all!
Urgh I am aching today! Have work later on, so will use the painkillers again. Can't complain, I'm here, aren't I?
I think I should be on the beach today although I could never stand Brighton beach on a sunny weekend, oh no! We usually avoid it on busy summer weekends and visit smaller beaches... much nicer, quieter, and the ice creams are cheaper!!
Not much OS being done today as I'll be out of the flat most of the day! I want to pop to Matalan before I set off for work, as there is a nice, big, professional looking bag I want to get from there for interviews, looking smart etc.
Tomorrow morning I'm planning a big tidy up-my focus will be the living room and I have a lot to do! Won't overdo it, as I have a busy afternoon and evening!
Right, I'm going to put the kettle on and sort the dw out, hang up some clothes and get ready for work... then have a little bit of a relax before I set off for work!
Sending hugs to those who need them xx

Goodmorning everybody :hello:
hope you are all feeling well today
Well I havent got any plans for today, DD is going over to the park to play with friends ( tried to get her to take the dog but she wasnt having any of it ) so I might take the dog out somewhere nice for a walk and I must visit my Nana too.
We are just having mince & mash for dinner today. Ended up eating out yesterday so there goes my budget for the month already
Got a load of washing to go on the line and one more load to go in plus mountains of ironing which keeps getting put offI think I need a baking session today too, muffins with raspberries and white chocolate drops and some flapjack should see us through a few days ( hopefully )
I have another interview tomorrow ( havent heard back from any of the jobs I went for last week ) so will need to do a bit of research later so I am all ready.
Have a great day everybody:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0 -
