2 NSDs already this week, although I will need to fill up again tomorrow to get me home. I hope it doesn't snow amy more, I don't want to be stuck here!
I'm working away but just 1 night this week, and a travel claim for £85. Plus some free toiletries.

Home again safe. The hotel I was staying in this week was ancient, I found out, thankfully after my last night, that it's really haunted. I thought it might have been, because it was so old. but I slept really well anyway and noticed nothing. I think I'll stay at the premier inn next time though!
My blender arrived :j so I've been making lots of soups and smoothies, like it lots.

All the sporting books finished on fleabay tonight, only 1 sold, although that wasn't until the last 5 minutes, however it did go for £10.25, so I've got back my £5 and a bit more. More exiting than doing surveys. However not sure if I can be bothered to list the other 5. The 3 that haven't sold have automatically relisted.

DD expressed interest in some Sanctuary scrub for her birthday, so I found it with 1/3rd off on the b@@ts website, went though my works website to get 5% cash back, used my Amex to get 1% cash back and got 28 points too :T

I've also got her a pendant (http://www.amazon.com/Sterling-Silver-Two-Piece-Pendant-Necklace/dp/B00HQALSEE) which I hope she'll like. It was free with some amaz@n vouchers I had.
DD also wants some cheese, odd request for an 18th birthday, but she does like cheese!

I've had a very frugal week so far, only purchased fuel and DDs gift, taking my average daily spend to £20.27, which is still an annual overspend of £344. At least its in the £100s instead of £1000s

Business wise I have this week come to an agreement about the new website. Originally the seller was just wanting to sell me the content, I wanted the domain name, branding and email addresses, which she's now agreed to and I today parted with £1200 for the new website, it'll be a few weeks before it's all transferred over, but I'm sure it will pay for itself pretty quickly. I'm going to challenge myself to get payback within a year! After which I think it's going to be a bit of a cash cow :)

That's all for now, busy weekend ahead, I hope you all have a great Friday x

Wow, exciting to read about the business and your blender being put to good use already, great stuff :T

Aww that pendant is gorgeous, certainly hope she loves it too.

In total agreement about finding out the hotel was haunted after the stay  and opting for elsewhere next time!

The cheese is indeed a very interesting birthday request...a bit of indulgence like chocolate I guess but for the savoury fan. :)

Your frugalness continues apace, you're doing so well. :)

Thank you for your continued support INOD & Ali.

That was a good reminder, my life is a wirlwind, I resolve not to take on any more 'stuff'!

I think I over did it on the exercise this weekend, 10 mile walk with my friend (only as we got lost!) and a 20 mile bike ride this morning, to say I'm jiggered is an understatement! But as I'm entering a couple of cycling challenges this year I need to be really fit. (Like that's not taking on more stuff!)

It was a bit of a spendy weekend, but nothing major. I visited the butcher, baker and greeen grocer, which was twice the cost of Aldi, and here lies a moral dilema. I live in a lovely thriving market town with lots of independent shops, I really feel that I should support them, but it's certainly not very frugal. If every-one shopped like me though, I would live in a dreary town with half the shops boarded up.

I went to the library to get the next book club book, however it wasn't in, or available to order. Which means I've had to buy it  however by downloading kindle for iphone I've found it for £2.65:)

It's DDs 18th this week, we're going out for a meal on Wednesday, that won't be cheap, I think it'll blow my eating out budget for the month, but special birthdays don't come around very often, so I won't stress about it too much.
Tomorrow I'm taking her to hospital to have her brace adjusted, there will be a lunch in there somewhere too, it will be nice to spend some time with her, I hardly seem of have seen her the last couple of weeks.

So another busy week, working away tuesday, meal out wednesday, bookclub thursday, and I've been invited to a race night friday. Nephews birthday saturday, round to a friends house saturday night and bread making course sunday. Phew need a week off.

I'm going for my hot chocolate and early night. Hope you had a lovely weekend and have a great week x

What a busy week - is there some rest planned as well? :D

It's tricky with the independent shops, I do use the unusual ones we have here for some gifts, but haven't the bakers or butchers for years.

Breadmaking course sounds good. I need to dust off my old machine and give it a whirl - been saying it for 15 months

Go steady this week and have a lovely time with DD and enjoy the milestone of her 18th

    True ! :D

It's the difference between 'have to do' with not enough time and not feeling great and the 'choose to do' when I've got the time and health. I think. ;)
