DH - Dexy - or even sexy dexy on (very rare) occasions

DS1 (23) - Dan the Man or Danno

DS2 (21) Boab ( nothing even close to his real name - it came from Wee Fat Bob out of Oor Wullie and it has stuck, even though he is no longer wee or fat- I'm a terrible mother haha!)

DD1 (16) - Minnie, or Boo (nothing close to her name)

    DD2 (12) - Chicken, Pickle, Princess, or Amy-Duck.

ETA - none of the kids object to their nick-names, indeed they answer to them without a flicker !
    I don't know much, but I know I love you ....<3

DD is minky and OH is anything other than his real name, usually hun but the ruder the better. :D We have a whole repertoire of insults we use in jest.

I'm generally hun/honeybun/honeybunch but when he calls me by my real name I get a little shiver ;)

I would hate to be called babe, baby, babes etc. That really infuriates me.

DD just calls me mum. Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum. The more its drawn out indicates how much she wants something. :p

My DD has always been 'pickle pie mushroom' so much so she was convinced it was her real name at times. :D She also answers to flange or floss.
My eldest DS is 'big'un' and my youngest DS is the beastling.

This made me giggle a bit as where I'm from flange is definitely not a pet name, it's used to refer to the vagina in a not entirely pleasant way.

My kids are Haribo and Mellybean. I didn't deliberately pick sweets :rotfl:
Hubby doesn't really have a nick name I just use his first name but frequently is prefaced by Oh for gods sake :rotfl:

I have a host of nicknames from my parents. Bookworm (on account of all the books I used to read), Floss, Bitsy Beans (based on a doll I had at birth - see my avatar ;)) and Plum. They still use Plum to this day and I am 38 :rotfl: I was mad keen on Victoria Plum and the last bit became my nickname.

I must admit to raising an eyebrow at the use of "flange" as a nickname for a daughter!! Not one I'd use! :rotfl::rotfl:

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

My family love nicknames. I've got no children but all my nieces and nephews have them - something descriptive like tiger (ginger hair) wingnut (big ears). We all have nicknames too.
    Mine is testicle. Go figure.
