So why did you need more than 2 hours?

Not that it matters but the two Asda's near me are HUGE and have coffee shops. Take the kids to get new school clothes, do the weekly shop and have a cup of tea and a slice of cake and BANG - easily more than two hours !

I parked in Asda in Peterborough on 31/5/13 according to the letter here. I am not a local in Peterborough so I can't really remember the dates.

I don't mean to sound rude but not being a local in Peterborough should not stop you from knowing the dates.
I would have thought it would be easier remembering the dates

Why would someone remember every day that they shop?

If you don't expect to be caught up in a scam for day-to-day activities, then of course someone could forget dates. Unless something memorable happened, I couldn't tell you when I went to my local shopping center in the last few Weeks, let alone Months.

  • I would know what day i visited Peterborough as I do not live anywhere near there

Unless OP is disputing the actual date, I can't see why you even asked this question.

She got a windscreen ticket and then a letter saying when it allegedly happened. She admits to being there.

If you have some "cunning plan" that would help if only she could remember the dates, please share.
  • If she were to be shopping locally then I agree I could not remember the dates, But shopping in another town I could remember by looking at a calendar

Well you can come and enter into my calendar/diary the places I visited so far this month. I don't live near any of them but dammed if I can remember when and where.
  • Hello.
I have been incredibly busy over the past couple of weeks as August is our busiest time by a very long way at work and I'm afraid this slipped my mind.
Today is my day off and another letter came through the post this morning.
The letter is headed 'Notice of intended court action', however the rest of the letter is pretty much exactly the same as the previous letter but with a few things changed. This is not a letter before action though.
I have found my photo of the sign that says T&C Parking with no mention of Smart Parking. Will this hold any relevance now? The date was the 31 may when I parked there.
    Many thanks

Edit: What I meant by the picture story is that can I ring up Smart Parking and tell them politely to do one as I'm 100% sure I read on here that the signage has to be for the same company.

The dates are about as relevant as the fake ticket the trolley boy stuck on the car.
    Be happy...;)
  • I hope it is irrelevant! The ticket that is.
I don't like being threatened with court so some reassurance/ genuine advice would be appreciated.
Whether it's 'pay up now, it's you own fault' or 'Carry on ignoring'
