yep :D sweet talk them engineers sylv & hopefully they'll
sort it out for you ((hugs))

have a great evening all :j

I'll take both please! The Stagecoach saga continued this week too. Tried 4 different buses, with 4 different drivers and none of them know how to top up a smart card. :wall::wall:

Don't want to dwell on the negative though, so will say that I continued with my sewing project last night. Did hit a bump in the road with it when my thread ran out, I tried to replace it but couldn't find the end and by the time I did the thread was in a tangled mess. BUT...I managed to untangle it and this morning I finished off strengthening the corners (basically it's an extra row of stitches around the corners), so tonight I can just neaten the edges with a zigzag stitch, turn it right side out and it'll be ready to use! :D

Hope you're all well and be lucky! xxx

  • Sheils - sorry it hasn't worked out for DS2 but I bet you will enjoy having him back near you. Its difficult with holidays when the kids are that age, can't you take her with you, but then you would need to go in school holidays and its always so expensive then.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

DS2 never intended to stay longer than a year and thought of it like a holiday Sylvia. Really nice he has spent time with his big brother. He is very much Scottish and I didn't think he would stay longer than 6 months. He never seems to live within easy reach here either.
DD refuses to come with us unless we take a friend too! Wouldn't grudge her a break. Didn't think she would miss her brother going with us but she does.

Hope things improve with Stagecoach Euro!

Morning all  I need to pick your brains for those who are clued up on tesco boost exchange! I want to get iPod for dd and was going to get it online but realised the voucher I got from shopping the other day which says '£20 off £100 spend on electricals' is only used instore. I have £28 club card boost too which I was going to exchange towards it. Can I do this instore too on both? If so, do I just take the vouchers I collected instore. (Sorry, I'm still trying to figure it out! :o)

Will catch up properly later, I'm virtual shopping before I go to work! :p

I haven't used the boost thing for years wingo but think you can still exchange them in store. Maybe better check with the assistant that you can use the £20 voucher and the boost one though.

Looking Ok here too FF. No frost for us though thank goodness.

Walwin - good on the dentists

I have the luxury of the dentists on Monday  (Mine's yearly though am LATE!)

Doc gave me the 'Nasonex' few months ago.

Sheils - least your boy has had time with his bro and an experience.

Wingo: You'd save more by getting the Apple Store refurb and maybe Quidco 3% -- use the Tesco for something else.

ILC - Hope your sinuses improve soon! I had a bout of sinusitus in September and it was hellish! Brought on by spending an entire afternoon working with Lavender! Lesson learnt! This weekend, when collecting the dried buds from some more lavender that I harvested in the summer, I wore one of those decorating face mask thingys! lol Looked like an idiot, and my eyes still got itchy, but my sinuses were protected.

Do you know if yours is caused by a reaction to something? Have you tried antihistamines? Sorry if you already have, just I know how painful it gets! ((HUGS))
