Hi everyone,

I have tried to have a quick read back but haven't had time to take everything in so hope you are all well.

Well done to all the winners. None for me. First thing I did when I got in was do the Currys Xmas List.

Sorry about your uncle Sylvia and hope your internet has been fixed.

We had a lovely time and took some wonderful pics of Ullswater and the surrounding area. The autumn colours were brilliant.
We left yesterday in rain and it rained all the way until 10 mins before Pooley Bridge which is where the ferry left and the sun came out. How jammy is that? There was a party of 68 kids and teachers waiting to get on though! Only us and another couple for by them. The kids were only going part of the way to a outdoor course or something so after that the four of us had to boat to ourselves which was lovely. Few more of us coming back and it did start to get colder but really enjoyed it - different to going on a scorching hot day though. Hotel was nice and staff lovely. Got a shock though, looked at the prices on the wall and saw £62 for DBB. Felt all upset as we paid £75 then I realised it meant per person.:D
We walked for 2 hours 20 mins this morning so pretty shattered - DH snoring on the couch now. Had a lovely meal in Brewers Fayre in Carlisle as had a 25% off food voucher to spend. Should now be able to get a free bottle of wine with our points next time we go to one. Love their reward scheme.
Must get on.

Have cancelled BT for the phone as it seems OK at the moment. they are still looking into the broadband thing.

I can't believe how soon Xmas is approaching! People keep reminding me how long! I don't want to know until payday! I've not seen the John Lewis ad yet but I've heard it's sad.

Yes wingo £75 for both of us. It was at £80 for a day or two and I said if it goes down to £75 we will go for it. There were a load of peeps there on a turkey and tinsel break so we got free coffee and mince pies too.

Great pics again Sheils! Do you put them in photo books? I was about to reply on your post but wondered why it was asking me to add you as a friend until I realised DH has been on the iPad and it was on his fb page! ( Think I will enter him into another dress comp! )

Glad you both liked them.
Had to climb up to the waterfall and select a flat rock for the camera for that pic FF!

Using a little teapot like a netipot. Can feel the temporary relief but the boom boom facial pressure soon returns :eek:
