I'm starting to think I need one :rotfl:
Morning all
Sorry to hear about your Uncle, Sylvia.
My thoughts entirely I am fed up of seeing personal planners, who needs one anyway when we have mobile phone app planners etc.
Thanks re Uncle.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
firefly - thanks for the concern and hugs.
My broadband is still playing up and also have a lot of noise on the line. I haven't started comping yet. Been holding on the line with BT for I am fed up. Two different problems they say. Looking into broadband and coming out to phone tomorrow, AFTER agreeing to a charge of about £120 something if the fault is inside property. Can they really charge that much. They have got you over a barrel. Sorry just moaning.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Try your modem (phone too) in the main socket and if still problematic then you should be ok.
Sometimes a DIY extension could be the issue and therefore BT (Openreach) would make you pay.
HAVE YOU A MICRO FILTER plugged into every socket/extension lead??
>>>>>> sorry to hear your news (((((hugs))))<<<<<<<<<0 -

I realy hope they get it sorted for you asap xxplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
firefly/iluvcats - have tried all the usual things as have it all in a little booklet. This has been ongoing for some weeks now and they are admitting there is a problem with the phone line and the broadband. I usually find the engineers quite obliging if you give them a cuppa and sweet talk them it just the 'having you over a barrel' (not literally of course that would be taking it too far)
;) that gets me.
Will plod on and hopefully it won't keep cutting off.
Thanks again everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Phone (retail side) do everything they can NOT to send out an engineer!
Sometimes they lead you a merry dance! (BT once said to swap the ethernet cable around :rotfl:)
Make you feel like banging head against a brick-wall.
In the end it has been a cable deterioration, exchange issue or loose connection in the birds nest of cables they have:eek:
Go to the top if they cause much more of a kerfuffel0 -
