I didn't get chance to mow the lawn again Alfie, even though it's been lovely here all day. I've been to work all day and then took DD to street dance afterwards. I was too tired to cook so I got us a parmo with chips

The kids have been lovely at work today. We made some shoes box gifts and sent them off to Africa etc. Its lovely to see their happy little faces getting all excited despite their problems they have. They weren't even bothered that the gifts weren't for them!

that's true sylv I find it distracting when tv/films are on & can get comps done much quicker when not trying to have one eye on tv & the other on comps :eek::D

Well, thanks for all the sympathy folks regarding the TV. Glad I couldn't get one from the local Argos as we thought we would try it again and guess what - IT WORKED not problem. God knows what was the matter with it.

iluvcats - regarding the mattress, sounds like yours is the same as ours just need to turn it round not over.

firefly - you don't have to apologise about the TAB Winter issue, you can't do everything at once. We really appreciate everything you do, you are an angel, like everyone else who posts.

Agree with you about the TAB Winter , there isn't any rush . Appreciate the effort you put in FF especially since I am useless at these sort of things. Not sure why everyone seems to enter things so quickly.

Huh just watching the weather forecast for tomorrow and have a warning on the roads as heavy rain coming in. Only had 2 nice days in the whole of DDs 2 weeks holidays I think.
