Have you seen that one ILC....Law Abiding Citizen? That's a good film, I'm watching it again now on film 4.

Sylvia, glad your tv is working ok now. Dreams mentioned on fb about lots of electrical equipment will start to play up due to something astronomical (no quite sure how to say how it happens like Dreams can :o) but my tv keeps going off too as well as my mobile!

Did your DD get 2 wks off school Sheils? Our just have one week off. I was worried as I checked my rota for work and I was down to work 10 hours on Halloween including evening. I just thought I was working the playscheme through the day as DH was working on the night and once the rota was done I couldn't change it! :o Luckily DH has managed to swap his shift! At least the kids can go trick or treating now too!

My son would love that soup fire**fly! I must invest in a soup maker :)

It starts from the very beginning ILC....blink and you'll miss it! When I first saw it, I didn't know if I wanted to watch the rest but it is a good film.

I'm so annoyed. :( I had planned on taking kids to pics to watch bad grandpa out this week but I've checked it again and it's a 15 film. :o The kids will be gutted they can't watch it! Looks like it will have to be Cloudy With a Chance Of Meatballs 2.

Want to see Hunger Games 2 in November

I normally try to spot a recordable film but often miss them. Sometimes get the heads-up here or on my film thread.

A week to go, I need a nice win as a token of all my efforts

    just found this in mail..

    Message from Novotel UK:

We are sorry that you may have experienced some problems accessing the Novotel Spin to Win site. This was due to the popularity of the competition and an unprecedented number of participants. We will be contacting all of the winners with a new voucher in the coming days. Knowing this may have caused some inconvenience, we have extended the voucher validity on the free Novotel Royale Cocktail, buy one main course get another for £1 and the three course dinner for two at Novotel, until 31st December 2013 giving you more time to plan your visit to a UK Novotel hotel.

It's important to note that any other vouchers previously downloaded from our website will no longer be valid.

    Thank you.

Morning - happy Friday to all :)

Can't believe how quickly the weeks are rushing by! I have put a note out for meself to remember to put the clocks back this weekend.

Dark here but stuck my head out the back door and can see there has been a fair bit of rain and more to come it seems. Looks like Monday is going to be a shocker weatherwise

No gardening then but have plenty to do indoors to keep me busy :p

Glad your TV sorted itself sylv and pleased you got your TREX C ILC. Nowt for me Wednesday NL draws  Got £18 profit left in NL fund so will have another punt tomorrow :D

Wingo - sounds like you had a wonderful time with kiddies and shoe box parcel gifts :A

Don't worry about cutting your lawns - you are a busy bee and with kids aswell - it's hard to fit everything in.

Can recall when I was working, the weekends were the only time I could do a quick bit of gardening (inbetween taking kids here, there and everywhere!) and quite often as per whatsits law - it would have been nice all week (when working) and raining at the weekends !

Have a good day all xxx

    Good Morning,

Looks like the rain has been on all night here and set to continue for days by the look of the forecast. Been checking on the Glenrothes/St Andrews forecast for Sun/Mon/Tues and it is better than most places but not brilliant although Monday looks dry and Tuesday lovely and sunny so might not hurry home.
    Weeks are rushing by Alfie.

Yes our kids always get 2 weeks in October wingo - used to be handy as we went to Canaries a lot of years. Sometimes DH and I had bother getting the same holidays so we went for those 2 weeks first. They took a week off the summer hols as ours used to get nearly 8 weeks which was dreadful when we were both working. Glad you have Halloween sorted out.

Thanks for telling me about the Novotel email FF - just been and checked I got one. Might be able to use my free meal one now as well as they have extended it. Didn't feel confident of the vouchers they were sending before. Can't believe they made such a mess of it as everyone else knew it was going to be a problem. They haven't mentioned the overnight so expect they will just be in touch as promised.

You seem to be enjoying your films ILC. Must watch some sometime. I will make an effort to see Sunshine on Leith.
Shame your kids can't see the Grandpa one wingo. DD was on about it. I enjoyed Cloudy with Meatballs so wouldn't mind seeing the second one!

Must get on. Good luck everyone.

    Morning everyone :hello:

I didn't get up until 8 this morning
It was so dark here and it's raining and windy :(

Sylv - glad the TV righted itself :j

Great news about the Novotel voucher sheils :j
    Was the new mattress comfy?

    wingo - what's a parmo? I haven't got a clue :o
It sounded as though you had a lovely day at work yesterday :T

    fire**fly - I hope you're really on the mend now :A
I'd tell you to take it easy but I know you won't :D

Have a lovely day all :)

Morning all :) Gloomy here too...but I might take him Xmas shopping soon seeing as he's not at work! :p
I'm not at work today as kids broke up yesterday in my school job. Just got to pop in office to sort out next weeks playscheme work with other job. I could do with getting one or two things in while my kids are still at school as I'm not getting much time otherwise!

Sheils, I really hope they acknowledge your win. I got the email too but I won a free dessert I think.

Hope you have a nice relaxing day Alfie and take some time out for yourself ;)

Hope you're feeling much better fire**fly :kisses3: Wrap up warm as we're in for some horrid weather!

Good luck for wins today everyone, hope there's plenty! ;)

Walwin, just saw your post! Sorry I forget that I'm a Northerner! :o It's a big round chicken thing with cheese sauce, cheese and Parmesan cheese what we call a parmo here! If you came this way you would see lots of take away restaurants advertising parmo's! I'm not fussed but the kids love them! :D
