You wouldn't believe the noise the rain made a little while ago. it just sounded like a giant shower had been switched on full blast. Goodness knows what it would have sounded like upstairs! Really getting sick of the rain now.

Sheils, I haven't had the coffee one from bzz. I wonder if I get it too as I'm a coffee drinker but drink de-caff because of migraines.

I like the fox pic ILC Don't foxes have lovely eyes? I agree though fire**fly, although they can be dangerous to others they are still animals just hunting for food and I hate to think of them getting killed but I think I would also be scared if they came into the house!

Is anyone living in Gloucestershire? Apparently a school has had to be closed down due to a nest of false widows found in there! _pale_
My DD refuses to open her bedroom window now as she is scared of them coming in!

I can't remember if I put an online euro on for tonight! Oh well....I'll look forward to an email tomorrow if I've won!

I do old fashioned way & just pour boiling water in sink with some menthol crystals then put towel over my head to steam up,

I can believe the noise rains made sheils
have the same here with very high winds
rains been battering at the windows :eek:

Do you have a Hong-Kong Phooey mask to cover your eyes as menthol stings!

Fire**fly, if your nose is running then if you can get hold of tiger balm that is good for stopping it. My niece brought mum some back from Tailand and it's brilliant for her.

Stormy out at the mo and last night had the most horrendous storm - thunder and lightning, torrential rain, gales :eek::eek:

Just googled about the false widow - Metro.co.uk show 8 reasons not to be frightened of them (:eek:) and 8 things you need to know :eek:

Where do they live?

Like most spiders, they can be found all over but normally at night in sheds and garages.

Telegraph.co.uk showing they are on the increase :eek:

May look at the inside of me shed/garage in a different light now and get another willing soul to give them a good clean out ..... any offers? :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope your cold is starting to get better FF and your back feels better

Don't like the idea of all these spiders Alfie although they say they came from the Canaries and I have never heard anyone mention them there and we have spent a lot of time there over the years. It is the cockroaches there that terrify me.
Our new mattress is supposed to come before 1 O' Clock so looking forward to that. Has two "free" pillows with it and a free entry to win a kindle!
