Weather took a turn for the better - sunshine, mild, nice breeze ..... so had a trot round and decided the lawns were dry enough to cut. :j:j

It was so nice to get out in fresh air and to be honest was getting fed up being good and doing begger all - not my style. Decided the back felt better and little note to sylv ...... alf didn't overdo it Think tomorrow is going to be another decent day so will be out there again cos I see that Friday is going to be rather wet!

Sylv - very well done on your win - lovely :j:T:T Hope you get ebay sorted - I don't use it cos I don't understand it.:o

Sheils - hope they locate your mattress soon, thank the lord you didn't get rid of the old one before 'said/promised' delivery!!!:eek:

ILC: If perchance my TREX C arrives before yours ......... alfie is going to keep very very quiet, for a while :eek: ........ especially as you kindly let me know yesterday that the offer was still ongoing and I ordered mine just ....... yesterday

Been nice for the last few hours here too.

Don't think it is my day - the Novotel Comp has been closed down and all the WEMs have gone blank. Looks like there has been mass cheating going on so looks like my night away might be lost.
Don't know what idiot worked out the vouchers for the meal wins etc as it was obvious anyone would be able to use them. They didn't have any codes or names on them. Joined their hotel membership thing as well to show willing - :mad: Have never stayed in a Novotel so was looking forward to trying it out. Will definitely never stay in one if I don't get my prize.

Been reading the various threads sheils re Novotel comp, what a total b*lls up :mad: Very disappointing for folk like you looking forward to their treats.

We had been thinking of diverting to an Edinburgh Novotel and having a meal while away as I had a voucher for two free meals too. Did print that out but decided against it thank goodness.
A free night in Jan, Feb doesn't cost them much as usually you spend money on breakfast, drinks etc but we shall see what they do. Think it is a lose, lose situation for all concerned.:(
Could be sticking to Premier Inns!

What a shame sheils A lot of people will be disappointed Still - I know it won't knock you back for long - there is bound to be another holiday/short stay win that will be winging its way to you soon. xxx :j:j

Oh Sheils, what a shame about the hotel. Saw all the fuss on fb this morning. On a lighter note we stayed in one of their hotels near Manchester airport years ago and had our wheel hubs pinched. Police saw them and retrieved them for us, it was some young lad. Sorry I know this doesnt help you though and hope you can get a result.

We are having big problems with out broadband, Openreach have been working in the close near us. It keeps going on and off and they say they will try and fix it by tomorrow.
