wondering what everyone's opinion is on raising the limit from £1.53

thinking I agree but as it's a moneysavingsite what do the inners think?

I agree with the sentiment. At the end of the day, it's each individuals own responsibility to ensure whether or not they can afford such entries (and whether they feel they are worth it).

Ahh, thanks Firefly. And what a pity, but hey ho. Still gonna give them a go. Also realized there a lot more postal entry comps for fishing stuff, so going to give them a go too. :D

there's some great comps on postals/texts that a lot don't visit because of the cost of a stamp or text entry,
shame really as lots win from them,
way I see it we pay for the internet to enter comps/buy mags to enter comps so what's the diff between having a few text entrys &
    postal comps :D
as long as you keep to what you can afford to do x

I don't mind the price going up from £1.53 as I never buy anything especially to comp anyway.
I'm afraid I don't text or do postals either. I don't have time to do all the comps I would like so I just do the free ones that I have time to do.

Look at the previous Wednesday (£1 ticket) prize funds (rollovers excluded) and they were steady at £6m to £6.5m

Now it's £2, the prize fund is only a paltry £8.5m (if it was so wonderful after all their research, the fund should be £12m +)

Sheils, glad your having a good time.

    Nowt on the TB

Miss. c. Hope your hubby recovers quickly.

I've always had a soft spot for postal comps sheils :o always entered them years ago & it's kind of stuck in me :o:D
had some good wins from them but must be admitting it's easier to do the free online ones :j

I don't trust text comps as there was so much scandal that they were still taking entries when the winner had been selected.

Also those late night premium text or call obscure fill-in-the-blanks quiz shows.

IPC got another answer wrong. Cheese answer.

Meow doesn't want to go out, rascal knows it's chilly tonight:eek:

Wine is a rip off, Watchdog said these Supermarket 1/2 price offers are cacht, as the wine is never worth double. Only 20p worth of wine is in a £5 bottle. (Rest is tax/vat/carriage/package)

Have my favourite wines ILC and usually get them for about £5 - we aren't connoisseurs! Saw Watchdog - DH was watching it. Funnily enough we parked at a Tesco in Carmarthen today to save parking charges and went in for a loaf and a bottle of wine and the wine all seemed to be expensive. Had been buying it from Sainsbury lately where it was good value. Should have brought another bottle with us as there is plenty at home! Got a £5 Pino Grigio anyway so hopefully be OK. :D
