    what James blunts

SSE to raise gas and electricity prices by 8.2%

Guess what the other sheep will likely follow:eek:

    Dunno ILC? James blunts?

Always careful with gas n electricity - no need for heating at the mo (thank god) cos sun is shining through house - puddy is lounging on chair by patio doors - bit of cat/sunbathing moment going on :D

Just doing my silicone filler stuff round the kitchen tiles etc (was meant to do it few days ago but garden was calling :p)

Getting in a right old mess - using plunger to pump stuff out and it's like a snake out of control :eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

In the end managed to get not a bad job done after lot of tweeking and sorting/wiping etc - bit more to do in next hour or so.

Puddy earlier was crying to come into kitchen to see what i was doing, so opened kitchen door - she wasn't impressed! :p

When I have Crispy Duck they send a little bag (probably microwaved) of thin pancakes, not sure if they are like the Abra's.

It's always panic-stations with that stuff:eek: I have a crisis trying to seal the edge of baths/sinks. End up trying to smooth with finger/spoon/spatula etc.

(did buy the bath self-stick once which worked)

    Morning,
gosh it's a cold wind blowing here today. Suns out but no heat with it. Even the steering wheel in the car was cold to touch when I went to work, lol.I know they said the temps would drop today but they could have done it gradually...:)
I hope it's warmer where you are.

:T:T Using me fingers with plenty of soapy water n rags for wiping etc  Did have some little things that i could use for smoothing etc but they appear to be buried in the garage somewhere and can't be doing with looking for them.

It sets so quickly though - so gotta be on the ball!!!!! Have some self-stick in parts of the kitchen which still looks ok.

Can I squeeze in quietly with a good morning. late up again. I had to read back three pages it has been busy in the Inn.

Sounds like the weather is getting colder for most of you. It was cold here when I eventually got up and I put the heating on but its so stuffy had to turn it off again. Its been raining most of the night but the sun is trying to come out.

Lots to do today as my DS is coming today with his wife (one of those fussy eaters who changes what she eats every time she comes). Oh well suppose we will cope.

Miss C - I hope your OH is feeling better today and lets hope they can sort out whats causing the problem. It must be worrying for you.

iluvcats/alfie/wingo - I take it you have doubled your input into the lottery then. As a matter of interest are they increasing the amount they give to charity with the new increase? Think I will stick to comping.

firefly - will try the mushroom soup at some time too.

    SYL

Have a lucky day everyone and will try and catch up more later.
BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS

My home made pancakes are not thin n dainty, rather errrm thick :o If you tried to toss them, it wouldn't be a case of scraping them off the ceiling, cos they would prob bring the ceiling down!!! :rotfl::rotfl: xxx

The first pancake always seems to be thick n squishy then realising you've used half the batter mix:eek:

10 days in and no wins, getting annoying as after all the effort and nowt to show for it:eek:

If you cook, garden, clean, shop, craft, DIY etc. you can see your efforts. Comping doesn't though:mad:
