    Morning all :)

Fairly muggy here at the mo but had good bit of rain through the night which lets me off plant watering duties this morn :D :T

Cloudy at mo but looks like it may brighten up later :)

Gosh, you peeps are all very clever with new technology .... makes me feel like a right dumbo! :o The kids find it all so easy!

I sort of get set in me ways with the stuff I have .... all quite basic - as long as they are working I'm fine but do break out in hot sweat if I think there is a problem!

My little brick fone is good for texting, calling ...... and that's it! Still, the bits I have serve their purpose (says alf, touching wood)!! :D :rotfl::rotfl:

You have been busy ff! Pies sound lovely :T I really must do some runner bean freezing today as they are growing fast now! Didn't do rhubarb - wish I had - love a rhubarb pud - crumble, pie, rhub fool with whipped cream :D - will do some for nxt year :) Morning sheils! :)

Have a good day everyone - :) xxxxxxx

Just doing the Glamour and Easy Living daily beauty products. (not the Frieda)

Rainy nite / morning here - Wondered why "Meow" woz not playin tag

Sad about how human life is meaningless to the warlords with those children etc. in Syria, don't really understand what's going on there!

Sheils: Sometimes you can re-program the F-keys not sure if it is a thing you can do with your model / win 8

The ice-cream glitch has made the red tops etc.

Need a win boost as August is too quiet!

Morning all i am feeling lousy so sorry i haven't really been on. Still no luck on the pepsi comp.

Did have two wins yesterday though (well if either get back in touch to confirm) i won tickets for stokes game on saturday against crystal palace off twitter (wasn't anything i saw on here just noticed it on twitter on my bus ride) and also won a football shirt off kwikfit insurance facebook page... I am pretty certain i had it off here as i know i didnt like the facebook page before i entered but no matter what i put in to search ot brings up no results.

    Hope everyone is well

    Morning all :)

Gosh fire**fly, you have such a busy day every day and up so early too! I can smell them pies already! Mmmm... :D

Every time I log into fb Sheils, it's on DH's page so I've been entering him into the John Freida comp but forgetting myself! :p Just hope he wins something nice for me! ;)

Are them ice creams still glitched then ILC? I daren't go try incase they are full price again! :o

Well done on the footie shirt & ticket win Becks :T Good luck with the Pepsi, I entered at daft o'clock as couldn't sleep with DH on nights and I won a bottle of Pepsi again! :p

Alfie, I would love my old brick phone back too as it was less complicated than these smart phones! Just didn't fit in my jeans pocket properly! The one I have now seems to keep phoning peeps even when I put lock on! :o And, for some unknown reason a great big clock has appeared over my pic of me & kids on phone! DH says its an improvement. :o

Looks like a sunny day here but kids still in the land of nod at the minute. I caught them late last night all connecting with their DS consoles and they thought I wouldn't see them under the covers! I should really get them up out of bed now as I know they'll be tired but I'm enjoying the peace & quiet for now! :p
Have a lucky day everyone xx

Hi ff .... yes blanche then into iced water (or under cold water tap), drain, dry, open freeze .... it's the way me mum and dad used to do it in later years - however ........ I am going to try some the way your neighbour does it ........ sounds a whole lot easier! :D:T:T

Ps - can also recall mum and dads bottling/preserving sessions! All those jars!! Sterilizing etc!! Used mainly for fruit - worked a treat though! x
