Well done on the book win firefly, Fred and I both won a book today as well from Look Mag.

We made it to the station in time to pick them up but Fred had to take the bus back with GS as can only take 3 in my little car. Just fed them all cottage pie and veg and some choc cookies for afters.

Hope you Mom is feeling better today Wingo.

Are you coping with the new lappie Sheils, I am glad I haven't got Windows 8 yet, Sister has it on hers.

Did you get round to the rhubarb pies firely?, sorry I am just greedy!

Glad you got a nice keepsake Katie.

Doing not too bad with lappy Sylvia now I have my Google bar and favourites sorted out. Main problem was the F5 button - keep going to use it! Well done on the books. I won one too and my Dorset Cereal arrived - 4 boxes of Chocolate Granola. Won 12 of them a year or two ago and we all got a bit fed up of them but should be Ok now. Also had a reply saying my phone would be being sent out soon so not too bad a day.

    Well done winners!!! :T:T:T

Had a good laugh at the 'disguised bin bag lurking burglar' wingo!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Soz, I think we ..... think alike!!! Been there, done it :o

Made the same mistake meself!!! Have good security round here and them lights ping on at the slightest thing - however - have to have a nose for peace of mind - usually it's local toms scrapping or foxes around and about. Sadly wee fox cub lost it's life on road near to here yesterday, guessing it was following its mum and didn't make it :(

sorry sylv :( I had it all planned to do them but got carried away with trying to do the world icon cover thing for the daily mags so it was easier for Cornish/mumto to paste copy them onto 1st page as I kept doing them the old way when posting them on the end of the thread,
    was at it ages :eek::o
but finally got there with Cornish & mumto's help :A:T:j

so the rhubarbs gone back in the fridge & the pastry mix is in bowl covered with clingfilm ready to do tomorrow now :o:eek:

    love the pics all :j:j

    have a lovely evening & SYL x

Had to laugh at you using the F5 and it turns the mouse off Sheils! :D I'm glad you told me that though as would never have known! If I do get an upgrade I will remember that in future!
Tried for ages getting flash player back on laptop. I've gone through the programmes and uninstalled any that was previously on but the shop deleted lots of stuff anyway to get it working again. The kids want to play games and every time I click to download flash it just comes up with 'stopped working' but won't tell me why! Oh why do things have to be so complicated! :o
Well done on your wins and glad you're getting phone soon! :j (Something else for you to work out! :D)

Katie, how lovely getting a reply and pic from Wills & Kate. :A They really are a lovely family, very genuine, even though I don't really follow up with the royals much.

Sylvia, glad you got the book too what FF won :j I bet your GD's claimed it already has she? :D

Fire**fly, sounds like you've had a busy day! Glad you're all sorted now! :D You would make a great BG too! :A I was reading all those who put in to help out. I'm not that clued up with everything and got too much going on at home with mum & DD so I couldn't help out I'm afraid. PPD is an ideal candidate though :)

Lol Alfie, I'm very much like you! :D
Poor fox, I saw a dead cat on the road yesterday but wasn't gonna say where the kids were but then hubby shouted...'eugh..look at that squashed cat! :( Men are so insensitive some times!

Well done on your win Sheils and hope the phone comes soon.

Noticed you were having trouble firefly and glad you have it sorted out now.

We are trying to think of somewhere to go with the kids 15/12/5 tomorrow. Problem is we can't get them in the car and its so expensive on the buses as its adult fare over 12. Of course it also depends on the weather.

Not done much comping today, will have to catch up after they go home on Friday.

I am wondering where to go tomorrow too Sylvia, I will be walking or going on bus. I might take mine roller skating at the park, it's not that much to hire skates. A friend was on about Ocean Beach, is that in South Shields? May go there when DH isn't working.

Hope you get the flash player sorted out wingo. It is really difficult working out what downloads are the right ones.

DD insisted I ordered a cover to protect the phone Sylvia and I have a Micro Sim waiting on it too!
12 seems really young to have to pay adult bus fares. It is 16 here.
Hope you find something nice to do.

Has anyone been to the Singing Ringing Tree near Burnley? DH wants us to go and see it next Monday when we are travelling between Preston and Skipton.

Glad you got your links sorted FF.

Yay, I've finally got the flash player on! Don't ask me how I did it but I deleted stuff, added stuff etc! :o
Did you get a micro sim Sheils? I got one from amazon before which was quite cheap.
Sylvia, the adult fare is 16 here, are you sure it isn't there too? I know it's just when you go on hol sometimes they class over 12's as adults.
