ha ha ha, wooah just wanted some advice not to be told off, let me explain, first of all, I had cash, because cash is king in my world as well as cards, also I paid on line becuse I also have my basic cards because i do not not have credit cards because I do not like debt I have a visa debit and that is it, I have also just sold my house that I was renting out that I bought when I was younger for 18 grand I am now 39 and sold it for 110 grand so I am not without cash, I have learnt over the last few months that when I say I am paying in cash that I get massive discounts and I mean massive, and isnt what this site is all about??? Helping each other through situations and without judging and saving money???? I have researched and trust me its been going on for months me looking at ovens my other half is sick of it because I am a very careful spender. I would NOT have missed out on the fridge freezer if incompetant staff would have approached me but when I went back, the manager said he was disgusted that I wasnt helped, he checked the CCTV and it was confirmed and when he spoke to head office even that it was literally 2 days later they couldnt price match?!!! Also I arrived at around 7.10pm not one advisor came to me and at 8 I was asked to leave, we have 4 children and I finish at 6 and got the kids together and took them to my parents, so does that explain everything, dont bother replying to posts if you cant be nice please.

So, you made a bank transfer to a company that was just set up that you'd never heard of before, in a foreign country, on the advice of a manager in a shop ?
If this is the case, then you have lost your money and the bank will not be able to recall it.

To be perfectly honest, your story simply doesn't ring true.

Seriously. I'm not trying to be clever here, but you knew exactly what you wanted and yet stood around from 7:10pm until 8pm waiting for someone to approach you?

    Earlier I asked:

How did you make your purchase from Tradostore?
    By credit card?
    By debit card?
Can you help us to help you by answering?

If you just are 'not without cash' from your house sake why mention that you 'saved and saved' to get the money for the appliances.

Also I think it's insane you just stood and hung around in Currys for 50 minutes and didn't ask anyone to help you. Be proactive. I would never just hang about a shop, I'd approach a sales assistant.

Ok, so your only complaint is with the customer service.

In that case, unfortunately customer service is not a legal requirement and you are under the good will of the head office on what you will get. It sounds like the manager was just trying to help you, its a shame it has backfired now. In terms of the punishment Currys will give to their staff, they do not have to inform you.

If your other half is in the trade, is their no way he could have sourced it cheaper?

Thats the thing, I have had my dream kitchen and he just doesnt do the size of the fridge that I wanted, to be honest he couldnt get it at the price!

It's good you researched before spending big, but you seem to have removed all that benefit by purchasing from a random website. :(

As I said, prices go up as sales finish. Unfortunately you missed the boat on it.

Did you really spend 50 minutes just standing there twiddling your thumbs rather than going to ask for help?

You said you are getting a full refund from your bank so all's well that end's well then. :)

No honestly, honest to god, I was stood around and no one came over because they were either talking or going home!!!!!!! honestly, its a joke really. My partner was even helping another couple with an oven as he is a kitchen specialist, I cant even describe it properly even if I tried!!!! The manager watched the CCTV and said he knows what happens when he has a night off and the manager (an acting manager) got a warning (so I was told)
My partner said you know what that was a joke, If my staff were doing that if I wasnt in they'd be sacked, making comments about this climate were in etc etc, and how people are crying out for a job!!!! No offense taken its hard explaining by email....... I have had a response from currys by the way they have just emailed me as I am writing this, they have taken my letter to the manager and are going to be in contact with me soon.
    Watch this space!!!!
  • I have had a repsonse from currys, they are passing my complaint for further investigation and they will get back to me as soon as they can.

I'd be more concerned with getting your money back from the apparant scam website.

How exactly did you pay - debit card or bank transfer from your interent banking?

Why, just WHY, would you not go up to someone and ask for help rather than standing around for 50 minutes in a shop? Especially when you knew exactly what you wanted to buy!

It was likely to be an offer from the supplier hence why Currys couldn't match it at a later date.
