What will the new TSB mean for existing LLoyd's customers?

My main current accounting is moving to TSB but our savings, ISA & individual current accounts are staying with Lloyds. I asked to stay with Lloyds but the process is a nightmare. Despite having other accounts with them, I'll have to be treated as a new customer for opening a current account in place of the one that's moving. Whilst they will move DD's etc they can only offer a classic account so I would lose all the benefits (added value) that I currently have with Premier. Apparently these might be available again in about 2 months or so.....
    What a palaver. Not happy..

You can upgrade the new classic account that Lloyds would open for you to a Premier online.

Can't wait for that new TSB to have their own web presence. I hope they do Vantage accounts like Lloyds and BoS :cool:

They are but they are to be called Enhance rather than Vantage.

Hope so, I'm running out of places to put my money!

Does anyone know if you don't get the 5% interest on a second FlexDirect account, do you get any interest at all or nothing?

I would think it's 1% but so far nobody has reported not getting 5%

OK thanks it's coming up to a month of having it was just wondering what the interest would be in either case.

An early peek at the new TSB cards taken from TSB's twitter account.

Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

I did ask about this but they said that for new accounts an upgrade might not be available for a couple of months.

I've got around it now by upgrading another classic account I already had to premier, transferring all DD's and closing the original account.
