how do i explain the missing sim.
kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
a blocked handset should work abroad, but i would try and get it back to the owner asap.
if it makes 3 bleeps when you call out, its blocked0 -
well you could be honest and say your daughter was going to keep the phone and threw away the owners sim.0

i feel really sorry for the owner if she hasnt got a back up of her phone's sim memory. most people value their sims most. it's full of numerous numbers some possibly irreplaceable.0

your right, honesty is the best policy

Im sorry for judging you it just sounded from your original post that you wanted help to unblock the phone so you daughter could use it. I jumped to the wrong conclusions:oi feel really sorry for the owner if she hasnt got a back up of her phone's sim memory. most people value their sims most. it's full of numerous numbers some possibly irreplaceable
If it was a virgin phone they have all the details in a database so if the person rings up they can get all their credit & numbers back. I know this as it happened to a mate of mine. He had his sim stolen (his phone was rubbish) and had about £10 credit on it. He went home that night and rung Virgin who said they had blocked the sim and yes some credit (about £3 had been used) they said they would send him a new sim with all his data on and the full £10 credit. I thought that was good of Virgin they didnt have to do that at all:TOffical MSE Fantasy League Member:beer:0 -
serious? I would think they could only do that if she had actually backed up all her data with virgin via the phones internet or instore.
if they can magically recover numbers from sims well then thats brilliant and all the phone companies should implement it.0
