I have decided to not too accept a 3rd term doing this, It is too much hassle for such a small reward. They took almost a month to get back to my email. I just do not think it is fair for us to pay cash and get L2S vouchers back in return (you can not pay bills with them lol) Being on a low income i just can not afford to do that. If i could opt out of the APL ones i would do a third term.

Have been asked to do Correctly Delivered surveys for the first time. Unfortunately can't find any information about what is needed either on the website, or at beginning of this thread.

Can anyone please post a link for training information for these surveys?

    Thank you

The correctly delivered is very easy to fill in. Just count how many letters you get every day and add it to the relevant day. It will also ask if any of these were delivered to the wrong address and that is it really.

That's interesting. I received a cube the other day bearing a £3 stamp. When I entered it, I was asked to confirm whether my entry of "stamped" was correct.
Today, I had a call from TNS, asking me about the cube details again. Luckily I had kept it. He was checking the colour of the stamp (i.e. purple for a stamp - gold for an APL) as it seems people do not understand the difference between a stamp and APL type stamp!!
Wonder if this was another "recycled" stamp.

I've noticed when using smaller post offices in villages etc. (I send a hell of a lot of parcels so visit PO's quite regularly) if it isn't busy they tend to use stamps rather than APL so for example if its £3.20 they will just apply a £3 stamp and a 20p stamp... if they were about to do this then it would be rather suspicious to specifically ask them to use the APL method, this could be whats happening (obviously not in the case of the one that you could see the paper around it)

PO's would also use stamps as a backup should horizon (their POS system) or printer become faulty.

I have been on the panel for a few years now and luckily don't have many problems.
I did have a cube to post a couple of weeks ago and when I went to the Post Office they were encouraging people to use the new self service tills so the cube that I sent off had a different APL on it to the one that I would have got had I paid at the counter.
TNS phoned me when it was received to ask if I had put a stamp on the parcel.
I explained that it had been done using the self service till and it was not a stamp but a smaller APL, still gold coloured but a different size.
I can see that it might have been confusing for the receiving panellist who would have been expecting a regular APL.:)

Are these the "post and go" touch screen type machines with scales etc. built onto the side? there's a couple on the main post office around here they never seem to work though.... I use the Drop And Go service where you get a prepaid card and just drop your mail off (no need to queue) then they process the mail later in the day when it's less busy and subtract the cost from your prepaid card really good idea if like me you send alot of mail/parcels

Yes that sounds like what we have in our post office, it is not a very big Post Office and our smaller one which is the one I used to use has closed, which is probably why they have put the self service tills in our main one. I was looking at Drop and Go for my ebay parcels do you use that for survey parcels as well?

The only survey items I use it for are APL items as everything else is already stamped (Pre-paid items can be dropped off at the same time, just keep them separate to avoid confusion when they're processing the mail)

I would seriously recommend Drop and Go for your eBay parcels, I really wish I'd done it sooner takes about 10 mins to set up then you literally just hand your mail over at the Drop and Go / Fast-track counter (the name varies between branches) top-up your card if required and walk out... any receipts / proof of postings etc. that you request are ready to collect when you drop the next set of mail off.

    Eek -

My husband had sprung on me that he has booked a 2 day stay next week for easter, and I am due to send a cube on the same day
(I have the incentives to cover cost etc)

Do I post it a week early (Same day/time) or do it a week late (same day/time) - I have no one else I can 100% trust to ensure this will be done on the day I am away.

I have tried to ring them this morning and had no answer apart from the automated message.

Many thanks in advance, I am scouring this thread and the training sheets and I am slightly panicking over all this.
    Wishing you all good luck!

A week late on the same day and time is fine. In fact I think on one occasion I did it 2 weeks late as I forgot it. It'll show up as overdue on your sending thing until it's posted, but don't worry about it, that's just a reminder to you that it's still sitting there.
