Car Phone warehouse deals

I am assuming that the £10 compulsory top up would come in form of a voucher, and that I could sell it on.
Or I could find someone with the same network to buy it for me, as the PAYG upgrade price is even cheaper.
The credit is placed onto the new sim, so it cannot be sold to be added onto an existing sim, you would need to find someone wanting the new sim/number with the credit already loaded.Aaargh - you have scared me now.
Just sold DHs old iPhone 4 on ebay - am about to despatch. It was unlocked by o2 at end of contract, and hasn't had a sim in it since.
We have sold it unlocked - because it is. Am I going to get a problem with this ?
That is perfectly fine, once a network process the unlock the iPhone will have the same status as a simfree unlocked version direct from Apple, it will always maintain that status. The phone is unlocked forever.
People get confused, the only iPhone that locks to its first simcard is the iPhone sold by CarphoneWarehouse as "simfree", they twist the definition to mean "no sim included" and then arrange for the first UK sim inserted to lock it to that network, as opposed to the more normal industry mean "any sim will work".====0 -
I am still stuck. I really don't wanna pay £120 for the Y300.0

If you are on vodafone, why don't you go for vodafone network PAYG on CPW? It will £90 including top up.
I can't see why your vodafone contract sim can't use on that. And in worst case, get the phone rooted and problem solved.0 -

As everyone says you don't need to. Just buy for 70 quid and give the unwanted sim away. I bought one, confirmed they were unlocked with the salesman (just in case) and put my giffgaff sim in no problems.0 -
