I mean subway the food company lol.

First the manager was making sandwiches and putting tiny portion of food in, then refused my student discount(despite sign saying student discount on all subs and meal deals) Then the dozy new employee who looks 16 wasnt paying attention, and was too bothered looking at Girls Aloud on the TV, overcharged, then forgot to hand us the cup for the drink and as it was hot an I was in a daze I walked out, got 2 minutes up the road, realised I never got drink or crisps so went back, and manager was rude and said "I dont recognise you, and theres no record of you buying that meal, no one has bought one in over 3 hours, I even had receipt and sandwich with me, and he refused the items.

The store was empty when we went in an is in the quiet corner of town, so he must have selective memory for less than 5 minutes!

So did you get your student discount, crisps or drink or did he just point blank say that you never brought the things from Subway even though you had the reciept. Did you point out to him the student discount advert they had up?

If i were you i would definatly complain to subways head office in the UK. If the manager of one of their stores lies and treats customers like this they will want to know.

i complained to OBrians sandwich place (that is a franchise too) and they were really apologetic and i got a free lunch! the take away in question got told to sort out what was wrong from the head office!

you need to find who owns that branch. If it's the managers your kinda screwed because he didn't seem remotely interested.

[Dave Brooker] It's your own stupid fault. You shouldn't be scrounging off businesses by using a student card, even if they say they'll give you a discount. What, do you think they're a charity, or something! Also, if you hadn't chosen that branch of Subway, you wouldn't have got ripped off so, again, it's all your fault. People really need to use some common sense and stop whining about stupid things. Are you too lazy to make your own sandwich, or something? Stupid people........[/Dave Brooker]
