low mileage yaris good or bad

As long as it's been correctly serviced I don't see an issue.
I bought my last car with under 21k on it and it was a shade under 6 years old. It's the best car I've ever driven and has been utterly faultless in the 18 months since.0 -
Check the tyres too, would most likely be the originals and may have lots of cracking.
Also check the mileage on each service and compare with the MOT figures online incase it was just parked up for five years and driven for one year.0 -

Problem with low mileage isn't just the low mileage itself, it's the fact that often the owner feels they don't need to have the vehicle serviced.
You may well be shown an apparently genuine FSH, but these days dealers have no problem just stamping away at the log book, anything to sell the car.
Do you have any actual proof of main dealers faking service history?
BTW they don't stamp the logbook, for the umpteenth time.0 -
£6000 seems a lot of money for an 07 Yaris. Take a look on Autotrader - there are plenty of 2010 Yaris's for that price, not high mileage either.0

Spend £6000 on a younger car. This low mileage car could have the engine wear of a 100,000 mile car0

As for your "proof" what exactly do you think constitutes proof? Plently of news stories out there about this happening, I suggest some searching because I cannot be bothered....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Well done you've found an article referring to an 80s car having a logbook.
Nowadays a logbook is the V5c

Dealers don't stamp them when they service cars.
No proof from you then, just more nonsense slating dealers left, right and centre but every back street garage is honest as the day is long.0 -

No, they're all as bad as each other....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
