Out of interest.. how are you basing that they have a poor record for cleaning? I have been to many haven sites without issue.
They have been on a few TV programmes - I think the most recent was Watchdog a few years back. See http://whatconsumer.co.uk/forum/consumer-rights-television-programmes/16178-bbc-watchdog-how-clean-havens-caravans.html
As it happens I've been to a few Haven sites before, and while the visible areas are usually very clean, when we've had to move a bed to put a cot in, these areas have been dreadful.0 -
Since when has 6am to 12pm been 'through the night'?.It's morning!
OP has two small children. Trains are running at hours when they'd want the children to be asleep.Cherryscone wrote: »But wouldn't the train be heard everywhere in the park anyhow ?
Isn't it fairly obvious that being approx. 20ft from a train is going to be much louder than being further away?0 -
i presume you made them put this incident in the accident book ?0

i would expect the caravan if prestige to be double glazed so amount of noise from train should have been small.
I would have thought so too but as mentioned the gap in the door was partially to blame for how much louder it sounded.0 -

they are breaking the law then0 -
When did you inform them?Your child is young, how do you know so soon that he is 'permanently scarred'?
I rang them as soon as it happened but the office was closed so left a message for them to ring back, I then rang again around dinner time the next day as they had not rang back and was told to go to reception.
As for the scar, its been over 3 months the scar is there still and has yet to fade.0 -

If you have an injury while there, whether your own fault (like me!) or otherwise, you go to reception who will call a first aider who will take a look and fill in an accident report.
Did you go to see them or did you sort it yourself and then phone/visit reception later? If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

If the railway line was not mentioned when you booked, then WRITE to them and tell them whag was wrong with your holiday, and what you want to remedy it.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
