    Seems a poor deal.
How much do you pay for your landline and to whom?

If you can get that speed with plusnet you can get it with anyone.

With their recent price increase, you'll soon be paying rather more...
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Hi, Thank you for your comments. "Poor Deal"? I pay £14.40 per quarter to BT for my line rental. I get £5.00 per quarter FREE CALLS. I SKYPE other landlines calls. I get FREE BROADBAND 12 MIDNIGHT TO 8 AM. All this, on a permanent deal. There really isn't a cheaper ISP anywhere, I have checked. If I've missed something, please let me know. Happy!

what do you mean by free broadband between 12 and 8 ?
does that mean outside those hours you have to actually pay for it ?

if so, thats a pretty poor deal

Hi Macman, there seems to be a lot of pessimism out there. A huge amount of cynicism too. I have a permanent deal. Look at my reply to Mr. Morose 2010 and you will see how euphoric I am! You should also know that I have 4 decades of computer and Internet nous, and am not fooled easily. Enjoy!

Hi Cycrow, With Plus Net, during the hours of 12 Midnight to 8 am, using the World Wide Web; is NOT COUNTED TOWARD THE MONTHLY ALLOWANCE. Of course I pay, outside of that, £5.99 pmth on a permanent basis. Non of this B...S..T free 6 months or low deals, and then paying the full rate thereafter. If you think that that is a "Poor Deal", then show me evidence irrefutably, of a better long term ISP anywhere in the U.K. Best regards

surely that £5.99 is to cover the whole month, not just the times outside the 12-8. Otherwise just use the free period and not pay the £5.99 at all

There are plenty of better ISP's

i get much faster speeds that you, 120mb.
i dont have a monthly allowance that i have to worry about
I have very long ping in games and even dont suffer latency problems on non eu servers.
and havn't sufferent any connection problems at all

Their cheapest package is Up to 16Mb, has a ludicrous 10GB data limit and costs £8.50.

So the point of your story is....?

Don`t you mean you pay £14-40 line rental a MONTH to BT.

What`s all this nonsense about a monthly download allowance, I thought a good deal would be unlimited like most people now get.

Free BB between midnight and 8am, are you a bat?

If you want the very best deal ANYWHERE, get your butt over to TalkTalk.

    UNLIMITED BB downloads ANYTIME.
    Up to 16 megs speed.
    Line rental £9-50 a month.
Essentials package £3-25 for 9 months.

Wise up and don`t post anymore nonsense.
