Well done to everyone, this thread is inspiring. Such large amounts of money being paid off!
Just made the last payment on my car. I got it new on HP agreement. It was one of those pay monthly and then the remaining lump sum at the end of 3 years, but at the end of 3 years I had to get a 2 year loan out to pay this remainder. 5 years later and it's finally mine! :rotfl:
Paid off my overdraft of £100 last month and hoping not to go into it at all from now on, as they've just started charging fees for it.
Now just £100 to pay my o/h back for our holiday, which I should be able to manage next payday.
Then debt free and the savings can start properly.0 -

Our debt reduction pace has reduced a little due to us needing to find our endowment shortfall by the middle of next year but should pick up speed again after that. Threads like this are inspiring and help celebrate big and small targets. Today I paid off the lloyds overdraft. It was the smallest one and only £250, but it's £250 less that we owe.
Also managed to knock sky down by £8.00 a month, feeling very happy with myself today!0 -

Read the challenges every week had LBM many moons ago but not really focused. Keep adding to my CC debt & drawing cash out when I'm short. Know how bad this is as used to work for a bank before I had my family. No excuse my eldest was 36 yesterday. B/Ln due to be repaid Nov 2015 want to be debt free by then
